Chapter 22

He blinked at her. "You don't look a day over 22." Red said in surprise.

"Well thank you." She said as she typed on her keyboard.

I almost snort at them. "Sky." I looked up at Dami.

"Yes Dami?" I asked him.

"I see your datamaster friend is here."

Nicole huffed. "Please Datamaster my hacker name, call me Nicole."

"Nicole." He said.

"What can I do for you?" She asked her.

"What would it take to get something like Corilain to help on patrols?" He asked and Nicole tilled her head.

"How do you feel about spiders?" She asked him.

"How big of a spider are you talking about?" He asked her.

"A bit bigger than a camel spider."

"What is it equipped with?" He asked me.

"A chemically made spider web that when it hardens needs a special thing to unmake it." She tells him. "He's a hacker, he's a smart ass, he has been a bodyguard for over 108 years. He is a learning AI so he will learn as he goes."

"You keep saying he." Dami said

"I give all of my Bots a gender to match the voice gender." Nicole huffs.

"I see."

"Spinner I need you at my location and Nick I need you to take over looking after the studeo." Nicole said.

"Yes mom." Their voices came out of her laptop.

"You have a mic on?" Red asked.

"No." She laughed. "I have everyone linked into my main chip in my neck so I can speak to them when I need them."

"Chip?" he asked.

"Do you not see the fact I have myself plugged into this thing?" Nicole asked him.

"Umm." He said blushing.

"Yes, that cord is connected to the back of my neck." I snicker.

"Hush you." She tells me.

"Oh come on!" I said. "I didn't say anything."

"You did not yet but I know you would." She tells me. "Oh hey she got me the alphabet." She said as she started typing on her laptop. "Alight." She said, cracking her knuckles as she pulled out a second cord from her bag and plugged herself into her laptop. "I need to download the alphabet then I will be able to start cracking the code. Spinner will be here in a few minutes I am sure you can do the introductions Lara."

"Yea I can." I said.

"Thank you." She said as her head tilted.

"Is she okay?" Red asked me after a moment.

"She's fine if she wasn't her laptop would go nuts." I told him.

"Ahuh." He said as he waved his hand in front of her face. She grabbed his hand.

"I can still see and hear you but it takes more time so please." Nicole said.

"Sorry." He blushed.

"It's okay for now. But please don't do the same thing please. Or I will ask that this be taken to my lab so I am not distracted." She said,

"Sorry." He blushed after a few minutes. I heard scraping along the cave walls.

"Spinner?" I asked.

"Yes I am here!" He spoke up. "What is going on?" He asked as he landed next to me.

"Spinner this is Dami or Robin he was wanting some to go on patrol with him. Dami, this is Spinner." I tell them. "Spinner is not only her oldest bot but her most uptodate bot since like she said he's a learning AI."

"All of us are though." Coralin said.

"I know." I said blinking.
