Bewitched!?
Lizzie finally collected herself and lifted her head from the down state she'd put in. She did this just in time to notice Briceus who was now standing very close to her. The situation was unexpected and as such Elizabeth's lips parted to express her gasp in utter surprise. 'How is this person here by my side all of a sudden?' she mused inwardly.
Briceus, meanwhile, was unaware of her inner struggle to come to terms with him coming to her side, out of the blues. The next thing he did was to slide himself directly in front of her. Naturally, he was now leaning on the one edge of the dinner table which stayed as an anchor behind him. Doing so, he at once tipped his tall height slightly lower in such a manner that would allow him the right angle to do what he needed to.
