The New Blood
The moon goddess Selene came down to earth a long time ago and saw the wolves and immediately loved how they took care of each other and lived, survived, and thrived with each other staying together in packs. So she decided to create creatures who could live like that and still have their humanity, the first creatures she created were called the Royals, they were to rule over all her creatures with mercy and an iron fist. Then she created Lycans who were supposed to be subordinated to the royals and proved to be too strong and stubborn to be controlled so to control them, she divided them and gave each of them a pack of werewolves who had lesser abilities than them to control and the werewolves communities was created. Major decisions could not be made without the knowledge of the royals as they were still in control. One fateful day, a notice was brought to the royals requesting an urgent meeting as issues were coming up due to Lycans marrying each other despite the fact they were not given the privilege of having soulmates as the werewolves or the Royals. Disputes were rising as power increased with some Lycans as a marriage meant joining their territory. A date was set for the meeting to settle the dispute, a few weeks have passed and the meeting date has arrived. In a large room, is a huge round table with eight chairs nicely decorated so it fits royalty, queen Haquihana was the first to speak"My dear subordinates I welcome you all to this meeting, now what is the reason for this meeting?".
" Firstly we are not your subordinates so stop with the disrespect and secondly the reason we are here in the first place is to stop some selfish Lycans who are trying to gather more power claiming that they are in love, what the fuck are they trying to do?" said Rudolf lycan of the European pack. Suddenly the room was filled with a powerful aura which was emitting from king Ernouf which meant he was upset, seeing this queen haquihana quickly put her hands on his "Rudolf you will speak to my wife with respect and you will speak clearly with no insults to anyone is that clear?".A slight nod was seen showing his shame"
"Now that the introductions have been made, let's get this meeting on the way some of you have made complaints about the others getting together but the way I see it is different as you are not blessed by the moon goddess to have soulmates because of your disobedience so what is the big deal in getting married?". "Your royalty we fully understand the fact that we cannot have mates but that doesn't mean we should come together for the course of getting stronger, our marriage should not be based on power or politics?" Said Adolpha the Lycan of Antarctica.
"Thank you Adolpha for your kind words and I understand your point of view but you cannot deny your fellow lycans the chance of love that will be too cruel so this is my decree anyone either a Lycan or werewolf is allowed to love any creature l, is that okay for everyone here?" replied Ernouf. Everyone replied yes in unison
" No I will not stand for this you cannot just give us a rule and expect us to follow it," said Rudolf. "Rudolf, are you a madman? Can't you see that the others agreed to it of their own will, or is the alcohol that the humans make starting to affect your mind?" asked Ernouf. "Screw you all and fuck this stupid allegiance" replied Rudolf and with that, he stormed off. " Don't worry I am sure with time he will come to his senses, now that we have all agreed can we make our way to the ballroom, we have made preparations for a party, just because we are royals that don't mean we don't know to party?" said haquihana. With that, they made their way to the ballroom and partied till dawn, the next day in a light-flooded room an upset Ernouf yelled at Adolpha " Adolpha no one must know about this or else war is sure to happen do you understand? you are to go far away and forget about here" said Ernouf to a crying Adolpha " yes my lord".
