Katherine barely stepped into the room before the loud shriek had her jumping in fright. She was immediately dragged to the couch, Astrid's excited face shoved in her face.

Katherine flushed hard, now realizing why Astrid was this excited. Katherine let out a small laugh. "It's not that big a deal," she muttered shyly as she hugged Astrid back.

You guys will be bonded now—well, minus the mark, but still! You're going to be Vaeloria's Luna officially. The people can't stop gossiping about this."
