In a world where every universe is born and sustained by the imagination of its creator, Alex Lavender who later was called Levi—a seemingly ordinary yet misfortunate reader—finds himself pulled into an extraordinary reality. After a mysterious masked figure ends his life, Levi is thrust into a new world, where he becomes a character in an unfinished story, written by the hands of the author himself. Chapter 7: Party

"Levi, come on! We need to go to the party," my mom called out.

"Yes, Mom, I'm coming," I replied, glancing at myself in the mirror.

I stared at my reflection. The suit I was wearing hugged my frame perfectly. The dark fabric contrasted against my pale skin, making the crisp white shirt underneath stand out. I adjusted the black tie, making sure it was straight. My hair was neatly styled, and for once, I actually looked put together.

Today is a party for the Four Clans. Every 5 years, there's a celebration on the central continent before the summer season to honor the success of reclaiming all the continents and defeating the Hollows.

But I don't care much about it. I just need to go with the flow. So, I'm going to the party. Actually, I'm a lot stronger than you all think, but I've been hiding my abilities. I've improved my space abilities a lot—almost maxed out my space affinity and other affinities too. Still, I've kept space abilities low-key because I can't be seen using them.

It's been two years since I last showed you all my status. You might think time skips happen often, and they do, but that's because I prefer fast-forwarding through my childhood so I can become a teenager.

The thing is, in front of my parents, I'm just Zarith - Initial rank. But I'm way stronger than they think. Don't worry, I'll show you my status only for now. I may not show it again for a few chapters though, otherwise, the author might give me a penalty. Well, I hope you readers read the book and enjoy it otherwise it will be cruel torture for me. Ok now let me show you my status and go to the party.

Well, here's my status. I've increased all my stats through training. Don't ask questions like how a 4-year-old kid could achieve this—just go with the flow. This is a fictional world, and miracles can happen all the time.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention one thing: every time you increase a rank in your mana core, your lifespan also increases. I won't be showing all my skills on the system anymore, as it would take up too many words. I'll only reveal the main skills I create from time to time. Goodbye and finally read the book if you like and support the author.

"Come on, Levi, get on the flight!"

"I'm coming!"

I quickly ran over to my mother, hugging her before stepping onto the airplane. I took a seat by the window, separate from hers. This was a private jet, of course—nothing less for a family ranked among the top four clans.

I sighed, knowing what was expected of me. Once we arrived, I'd have to do what I always do—blend in, act like a side character in someone else's story. But do you think I want to be a side character? Hell no. There's a reason I chose both paths and trust me, I'll show you instead of telling you. Words alone won't cut it, and honestly, explaining it here would just take up space in the chapter.

Now, let's skip to the party. With a wave of my hand in the empty space, everything shifted.

As the space shifted I was in a car going to the party. Oh, I forgot to explain about the Central continent sorry for the inconvenience of mine. The thing is central continent is the largest continent of all the other continents and it spans over 70 million miles.

Sorry about the miles and kilometers, I will just use miles for it as it is used in many countries. I am tired of narrating every fucking thing and I don't know whether the creator of this universe is the author or me sometimes.

Leave it at that and onto the next topic this party is also where four clans make their children compete but I don't need to do that because I am a 4-year-old kid who doesn't know anything about this world.

"Levi, you need to be a good boy at the party, okay? Don't go near any women because they might try to harm you," Mom said gently as she brushed my hair. (Wait don't comment just read the narration and then comment.)

"Okay, Mom. I'll behave like a good kid and stay away from other women," I replied. The thing is, it's not just the four main clans; there are also eight sub-clans known as the Noble Clans. We, the four main clans, are referred to as the Monarchs. The Noble Clans train their kids to probe the Monarch families, aiming to secure engagements or forge relationships for the future. Not everyone will do that but some clans.

And the final thing is that there is going to be an academy arc, as usual. The academy starts when kids reach ten years old, and there are no noble or monarch rules there; everyone is equal, even the girls. You can even slap them if they do something wrong to you, and nobody will care.

As I was speaking, the car door opened, and my mother called out to me. Stepping out, I was greeted by a grand mansion, illuminated by lights everywhere; it was nighttime for convenience. I was amazed, considering I had been a nobody in my previous world.

I slowly walked with my parents into the mansion, feeling the eyes of some people staring at me. A couple of voices floated through the air:

"Is that the son of the Monarch clan?"

"I heard he's a real prodigy."

"Do you think he'll be like his parents, like a genius mage when they are young?"

I was sure my plan to hide would work.

At least, that's what I thought. In the end, how the hell did it end up like this?
