Bar Fight

"Uh, sorry man", Doylestown was nonchalant. He turned back to the bartender when he found out that the big guy behind was whining because some of his liquor poured on him.

"The shots pls" Doylestown scratched his hair and drummed his fingers on the desk as he waits for the complete shots.

He felt some wired breath on his neck. It was hot and steamed. His hand went for his neck, suddenly the big guy grabbed it and flung Doylestown from the bartender's desk sending him to crash into couples of empty chairs and tables.

Mumbles rose immediately.

"This is turning into a fight".

"The little man is a dead meat, he shouldn't have acted ignorantly".

"Let's give some space to avoid hurting ourselves".

"I said look at what you did to my jacket bitch!" The man roared.

Doylestown was still struggling to get up from the floor when the man grabbed him again, "Bitch!".

He threw Doylestown to another set of empty chairs and tables. It was a deadly crash this time cause Doylestown broke some chairs and tables due to the heavy throw.

Noise rose in the bar.

"Bar fight!".

"Bar fight!!".

"Bar fight!!!".

Doylestown tumbled multiple times as he tries to stand up, he was crawling on his knees to shift away from the man. The man came slowly at him.

Doylestown finally grabbed a table which helped him to get on his feet but he was already in a bad shape and he wasn't drunk anymore.

The man stood waiting for him to get up completely cause he was still staggering. At that point, Doylestown noticed that the man wants to fight with him, "Oh shit".

"ouch" Doylestown whimpered in pain, his ankle was already damaged. He tried his best to convince the man, "We can settle this the easy way, not like this".

The man grumbled. He lounged towards Doylestown with another heavy blow but Doylestown dodged it, "You have to calm down".

The man got annoyed he went for another blow and Doylestown deflected it. It became a combat battle.

Doylestown saw a wide-open space to land a punch when he deflected the man's blow. He didn't waste any time and punched the man right in the face which send the man back, "You refused the easy way".

The man wiped the blood on his lips. He set his hands for a fight just like boxing.

He set out another blow but Doylestown was skilled enough so he deflected it and punched the man in the abdomen, the man winced and lounged back at Doylestown's face and Doylestown blocked it and gave a painful punch at the man's nose.

"Ughhh", the man drew back. He ran towards Doylestown, this time he grabbed him and threw him on the floor. The man got an advantage due to his large body.

He was on top of Doylestown. He roared and started sending down punches at Doylestown.

Doylestown was blocking them with his hands guarding his face, he didn't know how long he'll last because his arms were already aching him from the punches.

He looked beside him and saw a broken table, its leg was lying next to him, he had no option but to lose his guard.

He winced in pain as the punch land on his face, immediately he grabbed the leg of the table and whacked it heavily at the man's head sending him sprawling to the floor.

Doylestown stood up immediately, he went closer to the man and whacked him again on his head which made him unconscious.

"Son of a bitch" Doylestown spat out. He dropped the leg of the table. The noise in the bar was reduced cause the probability of him winning the fight was completely zero.

He smirked and went to the bartender. "My shots pls".

"Here it is sir" The bartender dropped the cups of beer on the desk.

Doylestown rubbed his face as he tries to massage the pain.

"You need some ice, sir?" The bartender offered.

"No". Doylestown gulped the beer and dropped the cup heavily, he took the second one but left it halfway.

He stood up to leave. "Sir, what about the tables and chairs?" The bartender asked as he motioned to the broken tables and chairs.

"I only pay for my drink, dues on him" Doylestown pointed at the big guy lying on the floor.

"But, my boss..."

"Call 911 or whatever, am sure they will help you from being skinned". Doylestown walked out of the bar. His head throbbed, and he winced about not finishing the drinks, that would have helped him calm down.

He opened his car and sat roughly. He sighed as he tugs out the car key from his pockets and was ready to go for the ignition. Immediately his phone rang.

"Hello".

"Detective Doylestown, Duke wants to see you now at the orchards". The call went off.

"What do you want now?" Doylestown mumbled as the car engine rumbled to life.
