The Curse of Time (Harry Potter Fanfic)

Attention: I use a translator and ChatGPT (to help with grammar) in its free version to write, so any constructive feedback is welcome. I will remove any messages with insulting content. If you have negative feedback, please share it politely. Harry Potter belongs to JK Rowling and not me. Summary: She was only two years old when her life changed. She is known as the smartest person in the wizarding world to most. To others, she is someone who willingly shares her knowledge. And to some, she’s a person who inspires envy, though they do not understand the side effects of such a curse. Information: -Our protagonist is Neville Longbottom’s older sister. -While our protagonist doesn’t possess a talent like Dumbledore’s, she has an intelligence equal to or even greater than his. -The harem will not be large (maximum of 3 or 4 members). -I am trying to base this story on the books, but please remember this is a fanfiction, so I may choose to alter some rules of this world. -I could also take a fan as inspiration for some elements but I promised that I would not copy the content. -Updates will be inconsistent, but I will try to avoid more than two days between chapters. I said TRY. -And finally, enjoy reading, and I hope it’s a pleasant experience.

The castle kitchens

"Marie?"

"Yeah, what's the matter?"

"Why are you in my bed?"

I had just woken up, and Marie was hugging me from behind. If you were the opposite sex, people could easily make assumptions.

"It's because you weren't feeling well, and a little comforting sleep might relieve all your stress."

Now that she mentioned it, I realized that in the middle of the banquet, I had felt tired with all the work I had. And as if that wasn't enough, I also had to do support courses separately for the Slytherins because they were too proud, but also to avoid starting a war between the houses.

"Sorry, I forgot, but you could have just offered to relax with tea instead of hugging me while I was sleeping."

"That's right. But I didn't think of it."

After this incident, we headed for lunch. I took advantage of this little moment of relaxation after the meal to walk around and clear my mind.

My footsteps led me to a door with a fruit bowl that had always intrigued me.

"Why do you stay so long in front of this painting?"

Marie questioned me after about ten minutes.

"This painting is suspicious and I'm trying to see if it's not a door."

"Hey, Evelyn, what are you doing outside the kitchens?"

Upon hearing this, I turned and saw Fred and George questioning me.

"What do you mean, kitchen doors?"

Marie was as confused as I was, so I decided to ask them.

"If you tickle the pear, a door handle appears, and then you can enter the kitchen."

After saying that, he showed us. Marie and I were shocked to see the pear twist with laughter. After a handle appeared, we entered the kitchens.

There were a hundred house-elves working. Some were preparing the future dinner, and others were doing the dishes.

Two house-elves came in our direction and bowed.

"Do you need anything?"

While Fred was picking the food he wanted, George told me that these elves were the ones who cleaned our beds and so on. They knew Hogwarts better than the ancient headmasters and other people.

"I didn't expect there to be so much effort behind it."

"I thought it was done by magic, too."

I turned to Marie before explaining.

"Food created with magic is often bland, so we prefer to use magic only to assist us in the task."

After this adventure, we headed to our classroom. Professor Flitwick taught us the levitation spell today: "Wingardium Leviosa." We had to perform this spell on a feather and make it float.

Marie managed it, and a few minutes later, I did too, which earned us house points.

The days passed and were quite similar. My workload did not decrease, but I am close to arranging for the Slytherins to attend classes at the same time as the others.

Today was the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. I wasn't too interested, so I headed to the kitchens to get a snack after finishing reading a book in the library, Marie was not with me preferring to see the game. An elf came towards me with the intention of speaking to me.

"You still intend to go get a book?"

"Yes, I'll take a book about potions, if it's available."

"You know there is a place in the castle where you can find what you are looking for without fear that it will no longer be available. Ca is called the Room of Requirement "

I was curious about this place, given that I knew almost the entire castle. I had even heard about a secret passage to Hogsmeade.

He pointed me to the place, and I went, curious to find out what this "Room of Requirement" he was talking about was.

Thank you
