Imminent Arachnophobia

I surveyed my options. The natural way out was out of the question - I wasn't about to wade through decomposing corpses. As for finding the spider's mouth, that seemed like a needle in a haystack. No, there was only one option left.

I held up my hand, forming a gun shape with my fingers. A beam of light shot out from them, boring a hole through the spider and the ground above. Sunlight streamed in, revealing the horror that lay around me.

I stood on a pile of corpses, each partially decomposed. It was enough to make my stomach churn, but what came next was worse. Thousands of small spiders began pouring out of the corpses, crawling from every orifice they could find. They swarmed over me, their hairy legs making my skin crawl. I could feel them on my face, in my hair, even in my mouth.

I fought the urge to panic. Sure, I'd never been fond of insects, but this was different. This was my worst nightmare come to life. The spiders seemed to sense my fear, their movements growing more frenzied by the second. I had to get out of here - and fast.

I thought that I had prepared myself for this moment, but the reality of being trapped in the stomach of a giant spider was far worse than I could have ever imagined. The sensation of hundreds of spiders crawling on my skin was unbearable. I felt the prickly legs of the spiders moving all over my body, making me shudder with disgust.

My mind was racing with thoughts of what would happen if the spiders covered me completely. Would they find their way into my mouth, my eyes, or even more private areas? The idea was repulsive, and I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of panic creeping over me.

Despite my divine status, I felt like an insignificant insect trapped in the clutches of a much larger predator. It was ironic that the God who created everything on this planet would be paralyzed by arachnophobia.

The spiders continued to crawl higher and higher on my body, and I could feel myself losing hope of ever escaping. As the spider's digestive acids began to burn my skin, I realized that I needed to act quickly if I was going to survive.

Summoning all of my divine strength, I managed to break free of the spider's grasp and crawl up to the top of its stomach. Looking around, I could see that I was still deep inside the spider's lair. I was surrounded by webs and the remains of other creatures that the spider had consumed.

I took a deep breath and prepared myself for what was to come. I knew that I would have to face my fears and fight my way out of this nightmare. I was a God, after all, and it was time for me to start acting like one..

"Hey partner, Rue is almost outside the city walls." I heard Pod's voice in my head, jolting me awake from my slumber.

I sat up, feeling groggy and disoriented. "What do you mean outside the city walls? Why didn't you notify me sooner?" I asked, rubbing my bleary eyes.

As I looked down, I noticed dozens of spiders crawling all over me. Without hesitation, I focused my energy and cast a fire spell, incinerating them all in a flash. I took a few steps back and raised my hands in the air, speaking the words "Flamethrower summon."

A golden light materialized above my hands and a flamethrower began taking shape in the air. I grinned, eager to put my new spell to the test. As soon as the weapon was complete, it fell into my hands. I took aim and fired, unleashing a torrent of blue flames that incinerated every spider in sight.

Their pitiful cries as they burned alive reminded me of the sound of popcorn popping. I focused on the task at hand, determined to rid the area of the spider infestation once and for all. As I continued to use the flamethrower, I noticed the largest spider, the one responsible for the infestation, began to convulse violently. The fire seemed to be affecting it in some way.

Eventually, I succeeded in burning every last spider to a crisp, but the smell that lingered in the air was almost unbearable. It made my stomach churn, and I felt even more nauseous than before. I took a deep breath and tried to ignore it, focusing on the fact that at least the spider infestation was now under control.

I couldn't last a single second in that disgusting spider's lair. Frantically, I tried to find the hole I had made through its body, but to no avail. It seemed like this spider had incredible regenerative powers. As I searched, I realized the hole had already disappeared, hidden by the surrounding darkness.

My only source of light was the flickering flames of the torch I carried. The dancing light cast eerie shadows on the walls of the cave, making my surroundings seem even more ominous.

With a deep breath, I gathered my courage and repeated the same strategy as before. With a swift movement, I opened another hole through the spider and immediately jumped outside. I was finally free from that nightmare of a place.

I looked around and took in my surroundings. The dense forest stretched out before me, and I felt a moment of relief. But it was short-lived. Suddenly, the ground trembled, and the spider emerged from the earth, poised for an attack.

I had prepared for this moment. Raising my head, I began to cast the biggest fire spell I knew. The air around me began to sizzle with energy, and a massive ball of fire formed above me. It was so enormous that it could have completely annihilated the forest and the surrounding areas.

But I had a plan. I waited for the spider to come out of the ground, ready to trap it inside my protective barrier to prevent any collateral damage. As soon as it appeared, I launched my attack with precision.

The explosion was deafening, but the protective barrier muffled the sound. The light, however, was blinding. It illuminated the forest as if it were daytime, and anyone looking in that direction would have been temporarily blinded.

As the smoke cleared, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The spider was gone, and I had emerged victorious. But the battle had taken a toll on me, and I knew I needed to rest before moving on to my next challenge.

But before that I had to check on Pod.

"Oi Pod, can you hear me?"

But again I didn't receive an answer.

What the heck is happening now?

I don't think it's a connection error as we don't use WiFi to communicate, so what is it?

Maybe someone or something is blocking the communication between us? But is there anything in this world that can do this?

Honestly I myself am not sure anymore. But just thinking about it won't solve anything. I better go and check it out.
