The Counter GARdian

A kid around the age of 14-15 with short auburn hair opened his golden brown eyes as he surveyed his surroundings.

He was in a forest with lush green trees and birds that were constantly chirping which brought a little bit of piece to his soul.

'Okay, who kidnapped me and why?'

He couldn't see anybody besides himself in his surroundings and that was the first thing that came to his mind.

Then he lifted his hands and checked his body by lifting the clothing. 'No stitch marks… hmm Did they decide that I was worthless and so threw me in a forest by the road? That is possible. Well, it is their loss. I'm pretty sure my heart should be worth something.'

Then he sat up and slowly lifted his body, at least he was about to. He saw his hands. They were small unlike the hands he was used to seeing every time he washed his face. 'What is this? Is this mine? It should be as it is connected to the arm which is connected to my body?'

Then he got a closer look at his body. It was also smaller. But also much better than his previous physique. He had fucking abs! He never had abs!

"Okay, what the fuck is going on? Is this a social experiment?" 'Those guys are getting crazier by the day and they finally found a way to enter dreams? Where is the camera?'

He looked around but still nothing. Not a single soul nor a hidden camera. Well it wouldn't be hidden if he could find it but anyways that's not the point.

He was alone in the middle of nowhere with nothing on his person that could identify him and in a different body.

So, he got up and started searching the surroundings, hoping to find something that could help him figure out something about his situation, but no. He couldn't find anything.

'There is nothing here. Okay let's think what did I do before I woke up here?' He racked his brains, forced himself to remember and it worked. He remembered some stuff but he wasn't sure that it would explain his situation.

'I remember that I went to sleep after watching a movie and then woke up in the middle of the night because I had to pee and then… and then I woke up here? Are you kidding me? Are you telling me that I woke up in the middle of the night to pee but I went out of my house, swapped bodies with a kid and slept in a forest? That is some voodoo shit or I got too high.'

He tried to think more but it was useless so he gave up on that and started walking with hopes of hitching a ride but the worst thing was he couldn't even hear the noises of any vehicles which meant that he was quite far away from the highway.

He decided to forget about his body for his mental health.

He continued walking, while checking his surroundings but other that some birds that looked weird he didn't see anything out of place.

Then, as he was walking, the bushes rattled as a rabbit jumped out.

But it was different from a normal rabbit as it had red eyes and a horn growing out of its head.

"The fuck!" He exclaimed as the rabbit lunged at him with the intend to pierce through him with its horn.

But he dodged with a speed that surprised even him.

"Eh?" But the murder rabbit was relentless as it lunged once more he rolled on the ground to dodge as he searched around for something to use as a weapon, he found some pebbles and threw them at it but it didn't look like the murder rabbit was hurt as it continued its assault.

The useless chase continued for a while and a kid dodged as a rabbit attacked which was a bizarre scene for those in the unknown but the kid was slowly getting flustered as the rabbit didn't look like it was getting slower from fatigue, instead it was him who got tired.

'Okay it was terrifying at first but now it is more like annoyance dammit! Why isn't there a rock or a stick that I can use to bash this bastard with?'

He was slowly but surely losing his speed as scratches started appearing on his body from the blows he couldn't fully dodge.

He tried to run but it was useless, the charge of the murder rabbit was too fast, he couldn't turn his back on it.

So, he gave up on that thought while fully focusing on the rabbit. He tried kicking it a few times but he couldn't land any blows as the rabbit could dodge while in midair.

He was about to be pierced to death by a fucking rabbit of all things!

'If I was gonna die, couldn't it have been a lion or a tiger? Anything works but a fucking rabbit? Come on! Well… at least it has horns so it should be a long lost species right? I don't wanna be known as the guy who died to a rabbit!'

He still continued throwing the pebbles he found on the ground to the rabbit while dodging and finally he hit it in the eye.

*Noise of a rabbit in pain*

'Yes!'

He didn't miss his chance as he kicked with all his might. The rabbit flew up in the air and hit a tree before sliding down.

It gave one last look at him with its only eye as it soon closed.

But he didn't get close. He continued throwing pebbles at it to make sure it was dead.

And that was the right choice as the rabbit opened its single eye and glared at him while trying to lunge once again but he could easily dodge this time as the crash with the tree has injured its foot.

It didn't have the same speed from before. He continued with the same tactic, dodge while throwing pebbles and finally it came to a moment where both of them were panting.

He looked at the murder rabbit which was panting from exhaustion like him as he said; "A truce… Bruce?"

The rabbit looked him in the eyes, it was apparent that this murder rabbit was intelligent but not as intelligent to understand what he was saying.

It must have thought that the prey it thought of easy was not that easy so it gave up and hopped away while throwing a final look at him.

Meanwhile the kid was left panting in the middle of the forest. "What the fuck did just happen? That was some national geographic shit right there. A rabbit with a horn? I just fought a rabbit with a horn hahahah" He started laughing. It was unknown whether it was from the bizarreness of his situation, his joy from staying alive or he mentally broke down after understanding what was going on.

He had transmigrated. 'I have transmigrated.'
