After activating his Soul Spirit, they knew that he would no longer care about anyone or anything other than killing, and even with it, it would be almost impossible to defeat all the royal guards and eliminate the target, especially with the pesky archers.

"You backstabbers left me alone, but I will still kill everybody and get the reward for myself" roared 1 as his aura become even more sinister and sliced off the hand of one of the guard using one his daggers.

His Soul Spirit would grant him massive power, but it would cloud his judgment and make it so that his only instinct was to kill. He would enter a berserk state where he would continue to kill no matter the harm he suffered or who he was killing, and it was very hard for him to control and subdue his Soul Spirit.
