Pressure
"Vasari, you're back! How was your day?"
After seeing him enter the carriage, Miss Covington asked.
Vasari had already sealed his eyes; he didn't know if the Elders could see through the mask, so he didn't take any chances.
"Everything went well. I tracked down a few bad guys to beat up. It feels good knowing that I may have saved someone's life in the future." Vasari said this as he approached the couch and sat next to Miss Covington.
"Where is Elder Lana?" He asked, surprised that he hadn't heard her voice yet.
"She is sleeping right next to you."
"Oh, I didn't even notice her. How is she doing?" Vasari asked before patting his lap. Miss Covington sheepishly smiled before hopping into his lap.
