The patrol squad guided the Cloud Haven disciples into the camp and left them in a decent-sized tent while they stood guard outside.

"Aren't these guys a bit too lax with their defence? Why would they allow people they don't know into their camp?" Jaxon asked in a whisper so those guarding outside couldn't hear.

"So what? It doesn't concern us anyway." DT casually answered while sitting on the ground with a relaxed posture.

Jaxon felt the veins in his neck bulge after hearing his friend's comment. He couldn't help but slap the back of DT's head.

*Pah!*

"It does concern us, you idiot."

"Oww, why is everyone hitting me!"

"If they are this insouciant with their defence while in the middle of a war, then it's a really worrying issue for us." Noemi's thoughts aligned with Jaxons. Their parallel thoughts caused DT to frown while rubbing the back of his head.
