4 sisters & 4 brothers

Cloud Haven Sect, Outer Haven, student residence 87.

Four- young women with breathtakingly beautiful appearances stood in front of a large mirror glued to the wall. They all seemed to be applying different types of makeup or styling their hair in elegant designs.

"Our first formal event since joining the sect. I've nearly forgotten how it feels to wear a dress." The young woman with black hair tied up into a formal chignon bun casually commented while her emerald green eyes focused on the mirror in front of her as she applied mascara to her eyelashes.

She wore a beautiful long, black bodycon dress with a low neckline which showed off her well-endowed cleavage.

Gia looked stunning as usual but even more so when she applied light makeup. The tight-fitting dress complimented her round, fit ass and her caramel skin tone.

"So true. This graduation event is the perfect way to finish off our time as Cloud Haven students and finally become fully-fledged disciples."

Jiang Xia said while dabbing her cheeks with a blush brush. Her black hair was tied into an elegant looped bun accessorised with a butterfly hairpin.

Her slender eyebrows and Phoenix-shaped eyes looked even sexier when she enhanced them with makeup. She wore a red and golden Qi Pao dress with black 5-inch high heels that brought her height up to other girls.

Talia hummed in agreement as she added the finishing touches to her copper-coloured hair styled in a 'feed-in braid and bun' look that took Gia 2 hours to get right. Besides mascara on her eyelashes, Talia wore no other makeup. She preferred her natural look over makeup.

A teal strapless corset bodice dress adorned her femme fatale body and although it was a bright-coloured dress it worked surprisingly well with her hair and eye colour. The teal dress flowed down until the end of her calves, leaving her ankles exposed. She completed her look with black kitten heels on her white feet.

Next to Talia, Witney was unusually quiet while she applied Barbie pink lipstick on her luscious heart-shaped lips.

Her crystal blue eyes stared at her reflection with an almost lifeless gaze.

"Witney, is something wrong?" Talia asked her best friend who hasn't been the same since 'he' left. She tried to hide it, but those closest to her knew how depressed she was becoming day after day especially after he stopped messaging back.

"Today is the 650th day since Vasari left and he hasn't messaged back for 147 days."

Hearing her depressed voice, Jiang Xia and Gia also stopped what they were doing to look towards Witney. Their gazes contained warmth that only the closest of friends-no, it was a gaze that only sisters could display.

"Witney, I believe that Vasari will be coming home soon. Remember that rumour about Elder Equus taking 49 Inner Haven disciples on an important training trip?" Witney nodded and Talia continued, "Well, I heard from Alex, who heard from his new master that Elder Equus received a message from Vasari before he left."

Witney eyes lit up in joy and the room the girls were in felt a few degrees hotter. The ocean blue maxi dress Witney was wearing started frantically flapping around and the lipstick in her hand started melting.

"Calm down, girl, you are going to ruin my make-up."

"Hehe, sorry Gia." Back to her normal self in an instant, Witney couldn't stop giggling at the thought of seeing Vasari soon, but suddenly her giggling stopped and she turned to Talia.

"When were you with Alex? At school, we are always together when he is there and I've never heard him talk about it." Witney lifted an eyebrow in curiosity but also interrogatory.

"Sigh, it's not what you think it is. You already know who I like, but after Alex became a personal disciple of a Core Haven Elder, my father has accepted his marriage agreement."

"""What!!"""

All three girls exclaimed in unison at the terrible news.

"I told my father that I don't want to marry Alex, but he told me to set up a meeting between the three of us to properly discuss everything together."

"No way…how could your father make that decision without informing you first?" Witney was so angry after hearing Talia was being forced into marriage, but Jiang Xia and Gia understood that this was the way royal families worked.

"It's all about benefits. Since Alex is a personal disciple of a Core Haven Elder his future is bound bright and he will receive resources and techniques that normal disciples wouldn't receive."

"From a benefits standpoint, Alex is pretty much a perfect husband and every father would love for him to marry their daughters."

Jiang Xia and Gia provided their views on Talia's situation which only made Witney more discontent.

Who could possibly be more perfect than her Vasari? The answer was NOBODY! Who cares if Alex was a Core Elders personal disciple, Vasari had the bloodline of the Imperial Dragon Clan and an Immortal Grade technique.

Of course, nobody knew this besides herself so they wouldn't know. Everyone just thought Vasari was just a pretty boy with above-average combat skills.

"Don't worry, Talia. When Vasari comes back we will sort everything out together."

Talia smiled and nodded before turning her attention back to her reflection that for some odd reason had slightly moist eyes.

*boom!*

*crash!*

*bam!*

The sounds of heavy impact and objects breaking could be heard coming from outside the room.

Witney's ocean-blue eyes turned glacial and she clenched her dainty hands into small fists.

"Argh! These damn hooligans are making such a ruckus again." She complained with annoyance and quickly walked out of the room with loud steps caused by her low heel pumps.

"Those boys are in for it today."

"They are getting naughtier every day."

"Hmm."

The three girls remaining in the room looked at each other's reflection through the mirror before suddenly giggling.

–––––

"I can't even leave you, boys, for an hour before you start causing trouble. Who was it that started it this time?"

Witney had her arms crossed and her face stern as she glared at the four troublemakers in front of her.

A funny scene of a 175cm tall woman admonishing four 3 metre long wolves took place on the lawn of student residence 87.

Mo, Rian, Cupid and Bing all had their heads drooped and their eyes facing the ground not daring to look up at their 'mother'.

They remained silent for a long time before Rian was the first to crack under the pressure of Witney's death stare. Rian started making a whimpering sound and lifted his paw in Mo's direction.

Mo looked like he was stabbed in the heart when he saw his brother snitch on him so easily, but he quickly came up with a solution. He too lifted his paw and pointed it towards Cupid while whining the same as Rian.

Cupid's heart-shaped nose wrinkled in surprise and his ears pointed up. He made a surprised sound as if asking why he was being pawed at. When he turned to face Witney and her questioning gaze he quickly followed his brother's tactics and pointed his paw at the youngest brother.

Bing looked as if he was struggling to stop himself from laughing, however, his eyes widened when he saw Cupid looking at him with a grin and his paw pointing in his direction. Not wanting to get in trouble he pointed towards the wolf who started it, Rian.

"Sigh, what am I going to do with you boys?" Witney facepalmed herself and she didn't know if she should be laughing or crying at the shenanigans of these oversized babies.

In the beginning, the wolf cubs were easy to manage because of their tiny size, but when they started getting bigger, it became difficult to control them. They were getting too big to live inside the house so Witney sent them to the Cloud Stables, but after just a week, she received a call from one of the stall keepers to come and collect them.

Apparently, they were causing trouble with the other beasts on the grounds they were kept in. They would use their advantage in numbers to gang up on the other beasts and play-hunt them. This wouldn't normally be a problem but the quadruplets didn't know how to control their strength and would accidentally badly injure some of the beasts.

They were not even 2 years old, yet they had already reached the strength that their biological father reached before Vasari killed him.

This was mainly attributed to Vasari feeding them Adult stage beast meat when they were just cubs and the fact that their biological father was extremely talented too. Witney and the girls also used some of the Cloud Points they earned from their exams to take the young wolves to the cultivation hotspots to improve their control over their hereditary elements.

Even Elder Equus was surprised by their rapid growth when he saw their progress before he left for planet Voxotis.

"If you boys don't tell the truth, I'm going to call Uncle Otis to deal with you."

The fur on the back of these young wolves stiffened up in fright when Otis' name was mentioned, Mo's mohawk even seemed to grow a few centimetres in length. If they were considered bullies then the black cloud Pegasus was the bully who bullied the bullies.

"Oh, still not confessing huh? Then I'll go visit Uncle Otis and tell him what you did."

Witney turned to walk into the house, but before she could take a step, Mo howled and pounced on Witney. Witney expected this and turned around to catch the 3-metre-long cub. Mo whimpered while licking Witney's face with his huge tongue to express his guilt and apologies.

"Hahaha Mo stop-hahaha ok I get it you're sorry. Hahaha stop, I won't tell Uncle Otis I promise."

Only then did Mo stop licking Witney, but he pushed the top of his head into her body. He wanted Witney to scratch behind his ears, which she did. His back right leg lifted and started kicking the air when Witney coated her fingers with SuperiorQi and her Basic Earth Will which hardened her fingers.

"Mom and her friends are going to be out tonight, so the four of you will have to protect the house while we are gone." The wolves' tails started wagging back and forth when they heard the word 'protect'. It was a word engraved into their memory from the last time they saw their father who they haven't seen in so long.

The wolves including Mo howled in excitement before jumping on the roof of the house. They took their job of protecting the house very seriously and if anyone approached nearby, they were going to be in for a big surprise when they suddenly find themselves getting jumped by 4 ferocious wolves.

Witney smiled when she saw the 4 oversized cubs each overlooking a cardinal direction.

'Vasari is going to be so surprised when he sees how big they've grown.' Witney thought while walking back inside the house. Standing in the lounge area, Talia, Gia and Jiang Xia had amused expressions while looking at Witney walking towards them.

"What's so funny?" She asked. Was there something on her face for them to make such expressions?

"You-you might wanna-pfft-reapply your makeup," Gia said while trying to contain her laughter.

Witney frowned before pulling a small mirror from her spatial ring and looking at her reflection.

"Fuck!!! Mo!!!!!"

Mo jumped in fright when he heard his mother's furious scream. The other 3 wolves started snickering like hyenas while guarding their quarter.
