"Mr. Bennett," I said angrily, and I used all the force in me to push him away. Then I took a few steps backward as he glared at me.
"I am sorry," he said, and I could feel the sincerity in his eyes. I was surprised because I didn't expect him to apologize to me.
I glared down nervously, and then he walked towards me and cubbed my cheeks in his hands. "I didn't expect you to use a letter as proof," he said, and I nodded, as I also didn't expect this from me.
"I have work tomorrow; goodnight." I turned to leave when he pulled me back.
"As my wife, we are supposed to sleep together," Mr. Bennett said, and I shook my head in denial before sending my hand behind to zip my gown and quickly fleeing from his room.
