Olivia's POV:
He chuckled. "Are you trying to know if I will be okay with you leaving me?"
"We are talking about Orlene," I reminded him.
"Remember the book you wrote with one thousand "I love you, please don't leave me"?" He asked, and my mind drifted to the day I fought with the receptionist; he got so mad, and I wrote those words to apologize.
He had promised to read a line every day and have me rewrite it after a thousand years because we would always be together.
"That's before I thought you were not capable of hurting me."
"I won't, get to know the new me. A lot changed," he held my hand and said in a pleading tone.
"I spared Jenna, even when every cell in my body wants me to punish her for what she did to Orlene. But I chose to let her go; I allowed life to teach her a lesson," he continued. Well, Jenna is the wrong person to spare.
