Her hand reached out and groped for the whereabouts of her phone on the nightstand. And after having found it, she immediately brought it to her face to see who had called and disturbed her deep sleep. She forced her eyes to open to read a name on the screen. Amy. Who else dared to disturb her weekend besides her best friend?

"What is it?" She opened their conversation without greeting. What for? She refused to wake up. It felt like her whole body still needed more rest.

"I'm in front of your apartment."

Instantly, her brows furrowed. Her brain, which had not yet fully awakened, processed Amy's words slowly. And she came to a conclusion. They didn't have any appointments together. "Why are you here?"

Elle didn't get the answer right away. It took a few seconds before Amy said, "I need your help."

Elle's frown grew even more. "What kind of help?"

"I'll tell you later. But now, let me in."
