The council knew what they wanted and would do anything in their power to make sure that their message was passed across, and you have to do their bidding the way it is without any complaints. 

As soon as we left the pack house, Ralph couldn't stop lamenting about the attitude of the council. "Did you see what just happened there, those old, greedy fools? How much I hate them for always tormenting me." 

I knew I shouldn't be laughing, but when I was angry and was about to attack, he told me to calm down as they were just trying to outweigh us both against each other, but now he is the one who is agitated over their actions.

"Hope you know it's not funny?".

"I know it is not funny. I just wonder what you will do if you finally become the king; you definitely will roast them alive." We both laughed at that statement as I made my way into the palace and straight to his room to rest my head.
