Removing the Blindfold Once Again Part 2

After saying those words, Yuki left them for themselves as she stood away from them and casually lit up a cigarette in her hands. This was their problem so there was no possible way that she was going to help them, she had already told them to never make contact with Somi not until she permitted them to do so, but they didn't listen to her, so they now have to face this problem all to themselves.

The three sisters don't know what to do after their Mother leaves them with those words because even if they want Somi to actually wear her new blindfold that lets her see in a minimal range, they don't know how to ask her. Their Mother already said that she was not going to help them, so they can't count on her to help them. As for Kurokami, she also can't do anything in this situation as she naturally wants all of them to get along, so she also doesn't want to lend any help even though she was a part of why things became like this.

Yumie who was quiet the entire time took a big step forward before kneeling on the ground right in front of Somi, but it was too bad that she couldn't see it because if she did, she would be very shocked to see it. From what she has read about the oldest child of Yuki, she was extremely aloof, cold, and prideful just like her Mother. She refuses to kneel down or even be looked down on by anyone other than those people who are truly worthy of it, but now she is kneeling right in front of her. But for everyone else who saw it, they were shocked, but not too shocked as they are the closest person to Yumie, so they know how she acts.

"Little sister… can this big sister you ask something ?" Yumie said and just as she was about to reach out her hand to touch her, she stopped herself.

"Wha… what?" Somi was dumbfounded because she heard the voice to be extremely close, the sound didn't seem to be coming from above her which only meant one thing, she was staring at her at eye level.

"Can I call you little Somi from now on? Also… will you permit me to carry you?" Yumie asked as she then gathered up her courage to hold Somi's hand, but it was clear that she was nervous as she was shaking when she held it.

And when Somi felt her big sister's hand shaking when trying to hold hers, she was frozen in place as she didn't expect for something like this to happen. But when she got back to her senses, she felt the hand that was holding her slowly loosening, and she panicked almost instantly at this as she then grabbed onto that hand quickly.

"No! It's fine… actually, I have always wanted for something like this to happen." Somi said in a hurry, and her actions eased all the tension that Yumie was feeling because she thought that she was about to get rejected by her, which was only natural. But of course, she didn't want that to happen.

"I… thank you. Then if you'll excuse me." Yumie said as she then carefully and gently carried Somi into her arms with ease.

When Somi felt the warmth of something unfamiliar but at the same time enjoyable for her, tears suddenly ran down her eyes again as she began sobbing again. Such a thing could only happen in her dreams, she can only dream about such a thing happening to her because she knows her situation and why it is impossible for it to happen. But for it now to happen in real life and not in a dream was truly a memorable time for her, it was something she couldn't forget.

Somi felt as if the piece that was missing in her heart suddenly came back to her as she felt the love and care that her big sister is giving her now. Even though it was only a hug from her, she felt that it was more than enough.

"Yeah… I know, it has been so long for you, so let it all out. You can cry as much as you want, you don't have to hold back." Yumie said with a calm smile on her face as she buried Somi into her chest and patted her back gently, and with her free hand, she motioned the other two to join her.

As she was sitting on the ground, the two also had to sit on the ground, but at this moment, none of them cared about it, the only thing they cared about was filling their little sister with all of the love that she deserved.

"We're here for you, little sister. We love you." Aika said as she held the tiny hand of Somi in her hands and squeezed it gently.

"From today onwards, we will always be here for you whenever you need it. You can always call us if you ever want anyone to talk to, we'll drop everything for you." Katsumi added and her sentence made a little smile form on Yuki's face.

"You are still smoking? I thought Mother had already stopped you from smoking?" Kurokami asked as she moved right next to Yuki while fanning out the smoke coming to her face.

"Well,… habits are habits. They are the ones that are hardest to kill." Yuki answered as she then puffed out another smoke cloud, but this time it was far in the opposite direction of Kurokami.

"Can't agree more on that." Kurokami chuckled as she put her attention back to the four sisters again.

They were still around each other, but at one glance, one would know that there was now a bigger difference than before. Just a few minutes ago, the three were very awkward with Somi and they couldn't really find a way to come close to her, but thanks to Yumie opening up the door, they finally got inside her heart.

"Little Somi, do you want to see what we look like?" Yumie finally asked the question that all of them had been meaning to ask her because that was what they wanted to know right at the very beginning. By letting her see their face, they would be even more closer than before as there is at least some more trust between them.

"Yeah, we just have to replace your blindfold, right? You don't have to be scared, because we are not even scared by your eyes." Katsumi added as she encouraged Somi to change her blindfold, Aika also did the same by saying a few words, and after a while, Somi finally caved in and agreed to their request.

She couldn't help it as it was one of the first requests by her sisters and she also had the desire to see their faces even if it was through a cloth.

"Alright then… here I go," Yumie said as she slowly untied the knot behind the blindfold, and as everything was going smoothly, Yuki realized that something was wrong. She still hasn't given Yumie the blindfold, it was still in her hands, and it could only mean one thing. Yumie already had plans to do this from the start.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Yuki asked, but she closed off Somi's ear so that she wouldn't be able to hear what she said.

"Mom… yeah, I'm sure. Would it be really a bad idea?" Yumie sighed as her hands stopped from untying the blindfold and Somi felt that there was nothing weird, she just thought that her big sister was having a hard time with it.

"What are you talking about, Yuki?" Kurokami asked as she didn't know what was happening.

"Yumie plans on taking it off, I mean literally. The new blindfolds are still in my hands, see?" Yuki answered as she showed them the new sets of blindfolds in her hands.

"What? What are you thinking, Yumie!? Do you know that your plan can go really bad, you know it yourself. Your little sister has built a trauma on taking it off, she even doesn't even take it off now even when she is in front of us."

Kurokami couldn't help herself but yell as she couldn't believe what Yumie was planning. She was extremely sensitive and protective about her daughter because she was very special and the first real daughter that she had, she loved her very much, so hearing what the plan was that could backfire really bad, made her lose control for a few seconds.

"Yes… I'm sure. If anything goes bad, then blame me. I'll even let you kill me if it goes bad." Yumie spoke boldly which made all of them freeze because it was something they never expected to come out of her mouth.

From her words, it seems that she really knows what she is doing, and Yuki is just like Kurokami, she is extremely sensitive about Somi. She was even more careful around her, out of all the children that she had, she was the most special, and the one that really needed all the attention and care. So she wouldn't risk anything that could go really bad at any moment.

But when she thinks about it again, she knows why Yumie was thinking about doing such a thing. But it was a gamble because if she lets her do what she wants, it could go two ways. Break Somi more, or make her better.

There is no more explanation for why it can break her, but for how it could make her better. If Yumie were to show that she was not really afraid of her eyes that could kill anyone, it might help her to overcome her trauma.

"Mio, get out of here first. Things have gotten more serious now." Yuki turned around and ordered her which she followed and quickly gathered everyone before leaving quickly as her Master ordered.

"You only have about less than two minutes before it kills you, so I better hope you really know what you are doing. But if this really backfires and you don't die from the curse, I hope you are ready for the consequences." Yuki warned her one last time before turning towards Kurokami and said the possibilities of this.

"Are you sure about this?" That was the only thing that Kurokami could ask.

"No… everything will be on her. But considering how strong she is already mentally, there is probably no less than 40% of failing." Yuki said honestly. Since she has already given Yumie her yes, she only needs Kurokami's approval now.

"Mother! Please let us do this, we support big sister after knowing what she wants to do. And we promise you that we will take the consequences if something bad happens." Katsumi stepped up and also asked for permission, Aika also did the same, and after a while, Kurokami spoke again.

"Fine… but please, just be very careful."
