Chapter 51
The atmosphere in a small alley was quiet and rather dark. Only the light from the front of the alley shone in. Mirawadee looked at the young man with concern. She wasn't used to the silence at this moment.
“I don't want you to know,” Rachata said after a long silence.
“I don't want you to see this condition at all.”
Mirawadee felt pain and suffering through her voice. She didn't even want to ask about the cause or any other reason.
“What do I need to do to help you feel better?”
Rachata glanced at Mirawadee, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. He made a slight move and pulled the smaller one down before placing a soft kiss on her full lips. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw his wife’s expression, which was both embarrassed and shocked.
“As long as you are my friend, that’s enough. I’ll be fine in a while.”
