"Reluctant? How reluctant?" Lillian asked, leaning forward as well.
"He does not believe her to be the culprit." He said, "And it seems he is suspicious of everyone he in the castle. Even Hakl."
"What is up with Hakl though? Is he that close to the king?"
"I heard that they were very close friends growing up, but that is about all I know of them." Arthur continued, "He wished to wait for a while so that he could interrogate her more but the people we adamant. The attack, then the destruction of their temple was too much for them to take."
"So the King gave in to their demands in the end." Lillian complete his sentence. "He didn't have much of an option."
"He didn't." Arthur agreed, "But I just wished the body had done something to prove her innocence. She does seem sentient enough to know what is happening."
"You think she is innocent?" Lillian asked, staring at Arthur suspiciously.
