Becoming The Luna; Part 3

We left the pack town and we headed out and made our way through the water mirror. I felt like a little kid as my mom is holding my hand practically dragging me to the brass doors of Ravenwood wood mansion. "Mom slow down, we have plenty of time" Dahlia says. "Im sorry baby. I didn't realize I was dragging you all over the place" My mom said. "You seem on edge, everything okay?" Dahlia asks. "Of course, I just want everything to be perfect" my mom said. "It will go exactly how it's supposed to mom, relax a little" Dahlia said. "You're right baby. I promise from this moment on, I'll be relaxed" my mom said. I gave her a big smile, at the same time we reached the front door of Ravenwood. My mom flings the doors open and yells for my dad. "Ethan, come look at your baby girl, we have to do makeup now, so hurry up!" my mom said. Is my mom capable of not embarrassing me? You hear my dad running towards us like an bull. He skids to a stop in front of us. "I didn't know we had a daughter?" my dad said jokingly. "Haha, very funny" Dahlia says with an eye roll. "You look great honey, can't wait to see when you're all done" My dad said. "Thanks!" Dahlia says. "Let's go!" my mom says as she drags me up to my room to be tortured by Piper. We move up the hallway to my room. I'm suprised to see, that my room is unguarded. "Where are the guards?" I ask. "They're taking care last minute tasks for me" my mom says. "Oh okay" I say. We enter my room, oh boy this is going to be a long afternoon. One of the guards must have brought it in while I was at the pack town. There was a styling chair in the middle of my floor, waiting for me to put my butt there. Hopefully, my legs don't fall asleep again. In my room a vintage room divider stands off to the side of my Bay window. Piper motions for me to sit in the chair to get started. "You have amazing features and your already naturally beautiful. Let's go with a natural foundation look, with a smoky eye" Piper says. "Sounds awesome, I'll leave you two be while your getting ready" my mom says. Oh brother, here she goes leaving me by myself again. "How are you feeling about tonight? Piper asked. "To be frank, I'm scared shitless. To have so many people depending on me and I don't even know how to be a werewolf yet" Dahlia replied. "I see greatness in you, Dahlia, you're gonna do great!" Piper says giving me a confidence boost. "I heard your royal guard is escorting you to your celebration" Piper says wagging her eyebrows. I chuckle. "It's not like that, we've just been through a lot and having him by my side makes me more relaxed" Dahlia said. "Do you like him?" Piper asks. "Yeah, kinda like an older brother" Dahlia said. Piper chuckled at my comment. "He is a great guy, but he's just not meant for me" Dahlia stated. "Do you have a mate?" Dahlia asked boldly. "Oh, not yet, maybe soon" Piper said blushing. "Sorry, if I embarrassed you, I know very little, I've never even had a boyfriend. I'm still a virgin and I just learned I have a fated mate out there somewhere" Dahlia said. "I'm sure it must be hard, trying to learn everything so fast" Piper stated. "It's been an experience for sure" Dahlia says. Piper does her biding on my face. She is a master at her craft and it was a delightful conversation. We spend the rest of the time in silence as she focuses on all the finer details of the look she's trying to perfect. "My dear Luna, your look is ready! Piper exclaimed. She hands me a mirror to look at her creation. "Wow" I manage out. It's actually making me emotional. "No crying it will make the makeup run" Piper said. I give piper a small smile. My skin looks flawless with a bronze glow. Piper applied basic mascara and eye liner. My smoky eyes, are the basic smoky eyes, with a hint of red. My eyes make my hair stand out. It's a perfect balance. My mom walks through the door. "Oh my god Dahlia! You look so pretty!" my mom squeals. "Hurry up and put on your birthday clothes your father and I got for you!" my mom stated. I walk over to the room divider and my dress and shoes are waiting my arrival. "Good grief, she's thinks of everything" Dahlia says reflecting on how my moms prepared for everything. I stand there for a few minutes staring at my dress. I gather up the strength face, that today is the day, and this dress is to be worn for my transformation. It's a lot to take in. I slowly get undressed. I take my dress off the hanger and I start to put it on. My parents did a really great job picking it out. The fabric feels really nice and the dress is a perfect fit. I look at the chiffon style dress and how the elbow length lace fabric hugs my arms. It's a beautiful dress. I can't zip it up myself, so I put my shoes on and head out to where my mom and Piper are standing. "Luna, you look amazing!" Piper says. "My baby girl, you're a woman now, I can't believe it" my mom says while tears streaming down her face. "Come here" my mom says. I go to her and she turns me around to zip up the back and then she places my necklace around my neck. My mom must have mindlinked my dad because he showed up at the perfect time. "Dahlia honey, you look like a goddess" my dad said. "Thanks everyone. I'll admit, you turned this ugly duckling into a swan" I said. "You've never been an ugly duckling, you look beautiful and it's nice to see you this way for a change" my mom stated. "I have to admit, you clean up pretty good" my dad says with a grin. "Now that you're all ready, let's go do the final inspections" my mom says. "Thank you Piper, please head back and get ready yourself. We will see you in 6 hours" my mom stated. Piper bows her head and exits my room. "Let's go check it all out!" my dad stated.
