"I announce alpha Lucien with his aide beta Trevor '' the public announcer for the queen bellowed in an audacious voice that filled the room. Everyone gasped with shock as they wouldn't believe it.

They watched in slow strides as he entered the room. Following closely behind him was Trevor.

In the presence of the Luna Trevor bowed to his knee in accordance while Lucien stood, they battled in locked gazes with one another. Tension flew through the roof keeping everyone on their toes.

They thought, what would the luna say? Why wasn't she responding immediately? Did she still detest him for abandoning the throne? No one knew.

She stood up from her throne further increasing the anxious stares in her audience. Stopping in front of her son's presence. She looked at him, her lips fixed into a frown.
