I did not hesitate and as soon as I saw him reappearing, my bow sounded, the arrow I chose was not particularly powerful, but I hoped Azel would notice the rope.
I shouldn't have worried as the projectile turned into a fiery snake enveloping the demon.
However, the fire was fanned out of existence as the demon casually walked towards us, rapidly spinning a spear in front of himself. All of our attacks were warded off by the spear and once he saw Jesen rushing to meet him, the demon tossed the spear aside, pulling out an axe.
Jesen did not care about the change and he leaped into the air, cleaving down at the demon, holding his first sword with both of his hands.
The dull black demon's eyes seemed to glow for a second as he swung upwards, blocking Jesen's attack and sending him flying.
April saw Jesen soaring through the air and she quickly instructed her shadows to catch him before he hit another wall.
