The Birth of a Demon Lord

Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers. After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold. Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Demon Lords

After a few weeks, there was still no word from the Supreme General and one day we got an official message from the king.

Making sure that we looked like heroes we gathered our gear and headed to castle, after breakfast. I noticed the familiar scar that ran all the way through the castle's wall as we approached, a sinking feeling in my stomach.

My left eye was still not fully healed and it remained shut as we walked through the front gate, guards bowing to us.

The mood remained somber, we all knew we were likely being called to talk about the Supreme General and it did not seem like good news.

The interior of the castle was dark as we entered the building and only a single servant led us to the throne room. Inside the throne room there was barely any light, but my right eye could see in the dead of night and everything was clear to me.
