Xavier turned his head slowly. He was looking at her face through the smoke.
After slowly exhaling a puff of smoke, he said lightly, "Then just owe me first."
"In order to express my gratitude to you, let's have dinner tonight," Madeline said.
"Okay," he said.
"I'll make a reservation for a restaurant and then send you the message." Madeline tried her best to force a smile.
"Okay." He looked docile.
"Do you have any restaurants you want to go to?"
"Whatever, as long as you like."
When the driver heard this conversation, he was so shocked. He couldn't help but look up at Xavier's face through the interior mirror.
He felt that he would be killed by such a gentle Mr. Blackwell.
Could Mr. Blackwell be so nice? Why didn't he know?
Why had he never heard Mr. Blackwell say it in front of others?
