Jacob Mackay
Jacob had been gone for a few hours. After leaving Sutton in bed, he disappeared. No one knew where he had gone except him, of course. His phone rang nonstop since the early hours of the morning. It was Sutton. She tried reaching him, wanting to find out why he had disappeared so suddenly, but he wasn't ready for that yet. He ignored her calls, making a mental note to return the calls later and explain himself.
It was daybreak. Jacob was back at Mayce. He had stopped by his apartment to shower and get dressed. He also swapped cars. He had been driving the Spyder for weeks now. He took the Audi with him today instead, and drove to work with his mind in chaos. There was no peace for him yet.
