*Sophie’s POV*
I couldn't believe how arrogant Nigel was. I sped into my parking spot at the cottage and exited the car. Addy was waiting for me and opened the door upon my arrival.
"Oh, boy. You don't look happy. I'm glad I made us some snacks."
She walked toward the dining table, where a bowl of cheese puffs and peanuts was placed.
"Nigel never drives, he is always chauffeured. But today he arrived driving a Bugatti, dressed up in an expensive Armani suit. He wanted me to feel like I've lost out on something."
"Well, to be fair, Sophie, you were dressed up too," Addy laughed.
"Yeah, but…well, I guess you're right," I chuckled and sat in my chair.
"Sophie, what's the real reason you're mad about him showing up in an expensive car and suit?" Addy grabbed a few cheese puffs from the bowl.
