Chapter 29: Debut

As the night begins after a week of practice the participants, are waiting in the first level to be called the producers are sitting in the fourth test second part; waiting until the first song team of participants is called and entered the performance room, while the others are watching from start to finish until the last song team did their performance; til the end.

"Jamlo, Jessica. You have proved and improved a lot tonight, since you first arrived. Keep practicing your dance even choreography, and singing you will be fine." CEO producer said.

"gam-sa-ham-inda." Jessica said as she bows.

"Christina-ssi. You have got protential but...we didn't really, see it tonight. Keep practicing and you will be fine." choreographer said.

"gam-sa-ham-inda." Christina said.

As they explain to the participant and she bowed.

"Asuna, Brooke. Your singing is beyond perfect. Do you and the girls warm, up your vocals and practice your singing before...?" manager said and asked.

"ye (Yes). We practice for 3 hrs before performance practice." Brooke replied.

The producers nod and the score is getting done, and shown on the score screen "382" then they went into the first level one by one same with the second song team; but not the third song team only one participant went into STARS.

"Lisa, Jasmine and Olivia. This isn't the end. Keep getting better and try again, in the future. Thank you for trying out for STARS." CEO producer said.

"Three eliminated participants please leave, STARS." man said over the speaker.

As the three participants didn't make it to the debut, left STARS and said their farewells even taking a memory moments before heading heading; to their home mainlands.

First Level in STARS

"Now there's only nine left. Girls, now the actual performances begins for debut." Jessica said and the other participants nods.

"annyeong-haseyo, my name is Brooke. I am one of the finalists that, made it to debut. We literally had to stay up all night and day practicing even memorizing, the lyrics, choreography, timing, pace and track. For nine hours without, a break but today we are in the trainee room of the company building for the songs of bands, to perform on debut." Brooke said in the waiting room before; they get ready.

As they get into the mini-van and head to music, company building but on the supernatural alliance mainland there is more chaos: protesting, fighting etc; while the S.N.A.P.D (Supernatural Alliance Police Department) is on duty around the clock.

Mainland of mortals

The mini-van pulls up around the back and the trainee participants, enter the building but inside as they practice one song after another the door opened and they see one; of the girls from the famous and popular girl band.

"Hello." she greets as she bows and hands them, bags with water and snacks.

"Thank you." girl 9 said.

"I am your mentor today. I can tell you are struggling." woman said.

"Senior Marie! Awesome." Jessica said in surprise.

And they all laugh before continuing practicing, the choreography.

As the hours go by they get ready to head back, to STARS and Marie goes to practice with her band group while they are heading back to STARS but on the; second floor first practice room the famous and popular girl band is learning a new choreography, dance with the new track and singing for eight hours until they take a short break.

"Hey, Marie. It's 5pm." woman said.

"Okay, girls. Time to go home now." Marie said.

But as they head back to their dorm while the management, is getting a new practice room ready for a new band.

But, at STARS the nine participants is getting ready for bed until Jessica spotted nine bowls of homemade hanok with rice and water; on the table along with a message on a sticky note in Korean.

'To nine trainees, We have made these meals for you. Please; don't forget to eat. From Jessie-STARLIGHT'

And she called the girls out and they see meals.

"Who is this from?" Brooke asked.

As they see Christina eating.

"maknae!" girls said.

"mwo? (What?) I'm hungry." Christina asked and said.

"No surprise there." Jessica said.

"She's always hungry." Elizabeth said.

"What was that?" Christina asked.

"Nothing. Let's eat." Elizabeth replied.

As they start eating their dinner until unfamiliar music jiggle for summoning, plays and they went on one side looking at the screen.

"Good afternoon, I am going to call your names of your ranks from the fourth test part 2." CEO producer said as he called their names and ranks even; they are surprised and after the screen turned off even they have finished and cleaned, up they brushed their teeth and hair before going to bed.

But, as the night continues the participants couldn't sleep and went to the first level and started practicing even working out before going; back to sleep.

As the days go by along with practicing until, the day of the debut arrived and the producers two bands and choreographer sits in their; chairs waiting for the debut performances begins while in STARS first level the girls huddle together for the, last time in STARS before walking the stage and start singing even dancing until the end of the performances; the girls are giving it their all together and solo songs.

As the last part of the song finished Brooke, gives a expression that made the CEO producer wanting to run for the hills but clapping even marking; the whole thing and after the four girls was in the debut area Orange, Elizabeth. Jamlo, Jessica. Jones, Christina. Duck, Jame. Until...

"Asuna, Brooke." CEO producer said and Brooke said her speech before going to the debut stand before they say goodbye; the others.

"We will see you girls next week. Go and celebrate." CEO producer said before the girls left STARS through the entrance.

Outside of STARS

"Let's remember this moment forever." Jessica said.

The girls nods and takes a moment remembering the, achievements made before heading to their new and official dorm while STARS is turning off everything; inside as the producers, bands even choreographer leaves to head home.

New Official Dorm

Brooke walks over to the window and watch the rain, coming down heavy as she gets a text from grandfather.

'Hey, omedeto. On your debut.'

"arigato, grandpa." Brooke replied back.

As he sent an emoji smiling that made her laugh.

"Goodnight." Brooke said as she heads to bed while, he is staring at the photograph of their family day out before she left the mainland.
