"What's going on?" I said walking up to them and they let go of each other to look at me and Michelle
"Son, I need you to promise me something?"
"Yes?"
"I need you to protect your mother and sister no matter what happens can you do that" I nodded
"Yes dad"
"Come here" he opened his arms for all of us to come to him. When me and Michelle walked towards them dad hugged us very tightly with my mother crying silently to herself
"Hey can you PLEASE tell us what is going on?" Michelle said when our father let us all go
"There will be war soon. The star shuttle pack will be coming soon to destroy your mother and your mother does this pack so I want you, your sister and your mother to leave at once to go to the Silver star stone pack where you'll find your aunt and uncle. Don't come back no matter what, now get outta here" he pushed us out of the house

Mason Pov
When in the distance we heard people screaming and crying
'The war has started' I thought to myself
We were around the block when I turned around to look and see if dad was following but the second I turned around this man had a gun at dad's head and this woman came out and shook her head at the man with the gun. I was running toward them but dad mindlink me
'Mason DON'T! Go and do as you promised me. Protect them Mason, protect the-'
(Gunshot) he fell to the floor
'DAD!!'
This freaking guy shot my dad AGAIN but this time in the heart
"Well, well, well look boys we have another Moonlight Star Pack member here, what do you say if we rip his legs off"
"Yeah!" One of the guys tripped me and I fell to the floor
Rosa Pov (Mason and Michelle Mother)
"Michelle!" she stopped and looked at me
"Where is your brother and father?"
"I don't know, I thought they were with you?"
"No. I want you to go hide over there...." I pointed to a abandon house knowing they wouldn't find her there
"..... And wait for us there if I don't come back with them within the next twenty minutes then-"
"Mom don't say that it sounds like you're saying goodbye to me and-"
"Michelle, listen if I don't come back with your brother and father then I want you to go to your aunts and uncles house, ok?" I said to her while wiping a tear off her cheek
"Michelle promise you'll do it"
"Yes I promise"
"Ok good now go" I waited for her to go hide when I made sure she was safe I ran to the last place I saw my family
Michelle Pov
When mom left I kept on thinking that they will all be back and then we will be a family again. I waited and waited and waited and waited for at least forty minutes I decided to just leave thinking that they'll meet me at my aunt's house
........Later On The Day...........
I was getting some rest on a rock it's already late. The moon is out and shiny. When I was about to close my eyes and fall asleep I heard a cracking sound I quickly but quietly got up and hid behind a tree
"Got you!"
"No! Let me go! Help! Help me please! Anyone!" I was kicking and moving around trying to get out of his hold
"Where was this beauty, Hunter?"
"Behind that tree" he said pointing to the tree behind us
"Let her go!" I look to see who that yell belong too and saw a young boy my age and another another boy a bit older than the younger boy
"Leave you rats this is none of your concern"
"Yes it is! Now leave that poor girl alone" with that the two boys went after my attackers
"You girl get out of here and save yourself"
"Thank you, what are y'alls names?" I yelled, yes I know it's dumb to say that to strangers but they are both risking their lives to save mine, Wouldn't you do the same?
"My name is Billy and That's my brother Richard. Now go! (Scream)"
"BILL! You'll pay for that! He was my little brother, you warthog!"
(Gunshot)
I didn't dare to turn round I just kept on running and running I didn't want it to stop
..........Ten Weeks Later.........
I was walking trying to find a safe place to sleep but it's quite hard to see in the dark. When I was passing a hill I saw a little cave I decided to walk towards it once I reach the top of the hill there was no one in the cave but a bomb fire. So I just thought of staying here for a bit and when I have a bit of energy I'll leave before they notice I was here and again I was finally catching some sleep when I heard footsteps but this time I'll be ready I quickly search the cave for any weapons but I just found a paring knife on the floor. I pretended to do something so that my attacker doesn't know that I know that they are coming. When I peaked to see if my attacker was close enough to me I quickly use my foot to trip him then got on top of him and put the knife close to his throat
"Get off of...... Michelle? Is that you?"
"How do you know my name?" I said getting off of him. He slowly got up with his hands up so that way I could see them but I still didn't trust him
"Michelle? You really don't remember who I am?" He paused but when he saw that I wasn't really clear with him. He then sang me a song that only my parents, my brother and me knew
"Now tell me you know me Mitchie?"
"MASON!" I ran and jumped on him which he caught me in midair
"I missed you so much Mason, I never thought I was going to see you or our parents again. Also hearing my nickname again and you-"
"Woah Slow down and put that knife down you're scaring me" I looked down on my hand
"Sorry you wouldn't believe all the trouble I've been into" I said getting off of him and putting down the knife on the floor
"I'm sorry I was supposed to be doing the promise I did to dad" a tear fell down
"You did your best Mason dad is going to be so proud of you but what happen to them.....come on Mason tell me, please"
"Ok but I want you to eat this before I tell you" he then grabbed a dead bloody dish and was going to give it to me
"WHAT! NO! I am NOT gonna eat that, Mason"
"Michelle you look like you have not eaten in days please just eat it or I'll force you to eat it and you know I will" he looked at me serious
"Ok fine" I said not in a liling way grabbing the dead fish from Mason
"Ew, ew, ew! It smells gross is this the food you've been eating for the last ten weeks ?" I said now eating it better it tastes better than I thought or maybe it's just that I'm really really hungry
"Yeah what about you? When was the last time you ate food? Besides right now" Mason said while eating another fish he caught
[I didn't know food wise what to put in this part so my bad]
"I can't really remember um" a tear ran down my check when I remembered when I ate
"Why are you crying?"
"Well the last time I ate was when it was war and Alpha Diego came to our house, remember?"
"Yeah so you really that damn hungry?"
"Yep but now I am full with the fish you gave me so now where are our parents? Are they down there still?" I said looking down the hill to see if they were coming
