Daniel: You guys need to work on your teamwork.

Thug 4: Shut up and get him!

A particularly large thug charged at Daniel with a roar, but Daniel expertly evaded his attack, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick that sent him crashing into his comrades.

Daniel: Maybe you should rethink your career choices.

As the thugs regrouped for another onslaught, Daniel remained unfazed, his focus unwavering as he prepared to face them with his full arsenal of martial arts techniques.

After swiftly defeating all the thugs, Daniel turned his attention to Akane, who stood there in a mix of awe and annoyance.

Daniel: I'll escort you back to your hotel. You can't wander around alone after this.

Akane, begrudgingly accepting his offer, muttered under her breath.

Akane: Fine, but don't get any ideas. This is a one-time thing.

Reluctantly, Akane showed Daniel her hotel address, and he accompanied her safely back to her accommodation.

After escorting Akane back to her hotel, Daniel strolled through the streets deep in thought.

Daniel: In the original story, there was a guy who harbored unrequited love for Akane. He eventually let go of his feelings knowing that Akane and Aqua were in love with each other.

Daniel smirked to himself, gazing up at the midnight moon.

Daniel: Seems like I have the chance to give her a more fitting conclusion. But for now, I need to concentrate on our current mission.

After meeting up with Sanji and Zoro, Daniel observed them getting scolded by their wives.

Robin, Zoro's wife in this rendition, was lecturing him, while Sanji's wife was chastising him for his recklessness, even over the phone.

Daniel sighed inwardly, knowing there was nothing he could do but wait for the storm to pass.

After enduring two hours of their wives' lectures, Zoro and Sanji finally reached their limit.

Zoro grumbled, "Damn it, I was fine on my own. Why did I ever propose to her?"

Sanji lamented, "My desperation for marriage led me to this. I miss the freedom of my bachelor days."

Daniel chuckled softly before responding, "Well, congratulations on your newly sealed fates. Can't do much about it now."

Zoro shot Daniel a glare of annoyance and snapped, "Aqua, just keep quiet. Wait until you're married and dealing with the same lectures."

Sanji chimed in, "Yeah, just because you used to be infatuated with Akane doesn't mean you can shirk your responsibilities. Love has its own way of working things out, you know."

Daniel sighed, maintaining his calm demeanor as he responded, "I made this decision for both of our happiness. I have no regrets."

Observing Daniel's peaceful expression, Zoro and Sanji could see the contentment in his decision, realizing that he truly had found peace with it.

Daniel suggested, "How about we stir up some action?"

Zoro grinned confidently, replying, "You can count on it. I'll make sure to pulverize them with my Demon Breathing."

Sanji chimed in, "Hold on there, I'll be showing them what my Flame Breathing can do."

Luffy turned around to see Alice standing there, surprising him.
