Haranishi's Kings

Hiro was in a positive mood when he left his house for school. He was pleased with his performance from the day before, and he was looking forward to seeing Haranishi's tape.

"Sigh"

"Even so, I'd have to wait until after dinner today to watch the video. Gosh, I hope this day is over soon!" Hiro whispered gently to himself.

Kamiya was well-known for its excellent athletic standards, but it also had high intellectual requirements. The school's personnel was knowledgeable and assisted students in reaching their full potential.

Kamiya's school uniform consisted of a white shirt and black pants, with the option of a deep blue jacket or a sweater in the winter.

Hiro's school day went on as usual, with him hanging out with pals between classes, studying attentively, taking notes, and so on.

Hiro was well-liked at school since he was tall, attractive, intelligent, polite to everyone, and helpful when required.

Although, Hiro was popular at school, he avoided taking on any responsibilities. He realised there was no gain in such, and he didn't have time for other responsibilities. Hiro preferred to be alone by just being close with some of his friends, focusing on basketball and his schoolwork.

Kamiya's basketball club had two identical gyms beneath them, each with three courts across the width of the court and one main one along the length.

The only difference was that the gym used by the second and third strings also had volleyball markings, and if the basketball team wasn't practising, the volleyball team could.

The first-string gym only had basketball markings; there used to be comparable markings years ago, but as the popularity of the basketball team increased, the school removed the markings.

Hiro felt at ease on the court, and he enjoyed spending time there.

Most people would not consider a basketball court to be an excellent place to unwind or be content. The court is generally filled with a jumble of noises, and individuals are always in danger of being hit by the ball if they are not paying attention.

Hiro, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy it.

Hiro enjoys hearing the vibrations of the basketball, the squeaking of shoes, the sound the net makes when the ball passes through it, and the dismaying clank of the rim when someone misses. He also enjoys the constant yelling and chatting that takes place around him while he plays or watches.

The only other place he felt this way was at his dining table at home during meals.

Hiro arrived with a smile and a hello, looking forward to another day of exercise and improvement.

Chiba handed him a CD at the end of training. "Hey, Hiro! here is the copy of Haranishi's game you requested." with a grin

"Thank you very much, senpai!" Hiro smiled excitedly and snatched the CD from him.

"Do you believe Haranishi Middle is strong this year with most of their team and bench full of first-year players?" He asked, seeing him. Chiba inquired.

Hiro grinned "Haranishi Middle has been our rival for many years, and they take basketball as seriously as we do, so I don't imagine they'll just send in first-year players if they don't deserve to be there. In terms of how good they are, the coach informed us that they won by a wider margin than we did" He stated.

Hearing that, Chiba's face took on a serious expression, and Hiro waved his hand and raced out of there.

Hiro sat in front of his computer after dinner and played the Haranishi video. He paused it after watching it once and thought about what he saw for a time.

After a while of observing, he came to realise. Realize what the New Generation of Haranishi's first years were like.

They are all monsters, exactly like Kamiya's team.

"huh! Shogo Izuhara is the major here. He's amazing!" Hiro reflected to himself.

"Sigh"

"Hahah! When you offer him someone to play with, such as other members, that guy Shogo becomes an even bigger problem."

"He was able to elicit maximum potential from his teammates, but what if the people he drew possessed inexhaustible potential? Not to mention that he has similar features as me! Haha! I'm very excited to play with Haranishi's Kings!! Ohh!"

Hiro was even more ecstatic than ever before.
