A Night in Robert City

Bryan kept his promise and traveled with Vivian to Robert City, a bustling city near Jackson City that was just a few hours away. On their journey, they encountered some monsters blocking the road, but they managed to defeat them together. It surprised them because they had only heard rumors about such creatures and had never seen them before.

After a while, they finally reached Robert City, which was filled with fashionable shops and a large crowd. Bryan was amazed by the number of people there.

Bryan: "There are so many people here..."

Vivian: "Of course! There's going to be a big concert here in a few days."

Bryan: "A concert? Whose concert?"

Vivian: "Stephanie's concert!"

Bryan: "Who's Stephanie?"

Vivian couldn't believe that Bryan didn't know who Stephanie was.

Vivian: "Are you serious? You don't even know Stephanie? She's the most famous artist under Jackson Enterprise. She's beautiful, has a great voice, and is an excellent dancer!"

Bryan, feeling a bit shy, asked, "Is she as pretty as you?"

Vivian laughed: "Well, only my idol can be prettier than me! Hahaha. Okay, let me show you around the city."

Vivian knew the city well and took Bryan to visit different shops and areas. As they walked, they talked to some locals and learned that there had been more sightings of monster attacks outside the city. They also heard about a new promotion by Jackson Enterprise, where people could try out the ZGene DNA plug-in. This was something new to Bryan.

Bryan: "What is this ZGene DNA plug-in?"

Vivian: "You know how people usually improve their strength through training, right?"

Bryan: "Yeah, that's the usual way."

Vivian laughed: "Hahaha, that's old-fashioned thinking. The ZGene DNA plug-in is a project by Jackson Enterprise. Instead of training, you can undergo an operation at their clinic to gain new and amazing abilities. It makes your body stronger and gives you capabilities you never had before. They have different types of DNA plug-ins for sale, but they're expensive. Jackson Enterprise is also doing research and experiments, so they're asking people to donate their DNA samples."

Bryan: "I heard they pay well for donating DNA samples."

Vivian: "Yes, money can make anything happen here."

As the sun began to set, they found a nice hotel in the city.

Vivian: "This hotel looks nice. We can stay here for the night."

Bryan: "We? Um, I think I'll be okay. I actually need to go back to Jackson City to find my sister..."

Vivian begged: "Please, Bryan, I'm scared to sleep alone in this city. It's not safe here. Can you stay with me tonight and leave in the morning?"

After thinking it over, Bryan agreed.

Bryan: "Okay, just for tonight."

The next morning, Bryan woke up alone in the hotel room. The last thing he remembered was drinking the tea Vivian had made for him before they went to sleep. He felt a sense of unease as he found a note from Vivian saying, "Thank you for the money!"

He quickly checked his wallet and realized it was missing. Disbelief washed over him as he muttered to himself, "Don't tell me Vivian..."
