"What happened between Gerald and Kayla?" Jenna asked.
"I don't know," I whimpered, my eyes narrowing with the hope that it wasn't what I was thinking.
"Well, whatever it is, nothing stays hidden forever," Jenna said. Just then, my phone began to ring. It was my husband calling me.
"Hi, baby," I murmured.
"Come to my study," Jordan said coldly through the phone's speaker. I stood up immediately and hurried out.
As soon as I came out of the guest room, I saw Mrs. Haverford carrying cleaning materials and a bucket.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Kayla threw up in the living room causing her mother to stop talking and become worried," Mrs. Haverford said with a grin.
Mrs. Haverford added, "Her mother obviously did not know her daughter was pregnant," Mrs. Haverford said. I shrugged and headed north.
