"It's almost two years now. My patience is wearing off, I swear."

"So, how many girls have you dated since you realized you liked her?"

"I'm surprised you're interested in this,but... for the first three months, I didn't date anyone but afterwards I dated three."

"What about now? Are you dating anyone?"

"What are driving at with all these questions." Miles laughed.

"Just answer them. I'm trying to draw a conclusion here to help you know the truth."

"Yes, ma'am. I'm single for now"

"So has she dated anyone since she's been clinging to Myles?"

"Nope."

"Has Myles dated anyone since she's been clinging to him?"

"Myles doesn't do 'girlfriends' even before Kim."

"Hmm. I have a conclusion. My instincts tell me something and my instincts never lie. I mean never."

"Wow, just like Myles."

"Please don't classify me with him."she sighed. "As I was saying. Myles doesn't date anyone, it gives Kim the confidence that since there's no one standing beside him, she clinging to him whether he likes her or not automatically makes her his partner. You having other girlfriends gives her more assurance that you are getting more distance which is good on her path. She would say she doesn't date someone who has a girlfriend while you're with someone and while you're single, she would say that you want to make her your back-up plan for when you don't have a girlfriend. However, it's the other way around." she stared at him to check his reaction before she continued.

"Does Myles know that you like her?"

"Nope. Only you and Jonah know about it. Jonah only knew because I told him and asked him for advice but he wasn't of too much help. He did comfort me." he laughed as he said the last sentence.

"Okay, another conclusion. Myles tries to push her away not because he's irritated by her but because he hates her clinginess. However, he still wants her around to satisfy his personal needs. You know what I mean. If Myles had known that you liked her, given his passive behavior, he would have totally push her away because he wouldn't want to be hitting on a girl that his twin brother likes."

"Wow! You are so wise, Evie. I wish you'd arrived earlier. Maybe I would have gotten out of this misery."

"Don't call it a misery. It just happens to people. What I do in cases like this is just shut the emotion and unlike the person overnight."

"What? Are you for real? How possible is that?"

"One hundred percent true. I've got no reason to lie about that."

"I want to be like you. So what do you suggest I do now."

"I don't think you'll want to hear my advice. It's not too nice."

"I don't want nice advice. I want an advice that would open my eyes to the truth."

"If you insist. Okay, all you gotta do is face the one truth that you still haven't realized."

"Which is?"

"Kim is being Myles' whore are never will she be interested in you no matter how good looking you are. Even if she detaches from Myles, there's no guarantee that she'll come to you. If Myles leaves this school and you are probably left as the hottest, she'll hang on to you because of one thing 'fame'. That's all she's after. She's Myles' Freeuse babe. And if that's what you want her to be to you, you can keep chasing."

"I feel like tearing up right now." he laughed. "Wow, I can't believe you figured it out in just a sec. I think what you said really struck hard. It was cruel but honest. Man! you really just use your words the way it comes."

"Okay, the next person I want to ask about is your brother. Is he really the same? Like when we were kids?" she asked

"Pretty much but I think we both are on good terms now. He has embraced the fact that we're twins. And he's less bossy but still intimidating. (scoff) It doesn't affect me though. Even some senior students don't dare mess with him."

"He's super rude. Like on a whole new level."

The bell drew the students' attention. The teacher left the class without sparing a second glance at the students.
