"Lift the curse, I don't want him to die," Aria sobbed. She sat on the floor, her whole body was shaking, while the sorcerer stared at her with compassion, as if he was not the person that had caused this.
"Don't worry, nothing will happen to him," he said. He wiped away her tears and caressed her cheeks gently. His bright green eyes stared at Aria with so much interest. She had a strong will that he admired and more importantly, she had a strong constitution.
"B- but a child died…" Aria was afraid, she couldn't think straight. "Heavens! What have I done…? What if he dies?" The thought of losing Cane scared her out of her wits.
The sorcerer looked so genuine when he calmed her down, he rubbed her back and put his arm around her shoulder, as he wiped her tears.
