Pass out… Darius just wanted to pass out on Nicholai's bed. He didn't manage to control his mouth around Enzo earlier. It was good that the prince decided not to follow him anymore after that argument outside the basketball court.
"Dammit… how long should I even endure having that guy around?" Darius then smothered himself with the sheets. "Nick felt driven away from his home when he lost a fight to Enzo that time. Is that why he grew particular about never losing again? Of failing to do what was expected of him?"
Darius rolled over to lie on his back and closed his eyes. "I shouldn't have asked him to deal with Domino for me. Who knows how scared he is right now, thinking about the consequences of losing to another full-crested King…?"
