Waking Early

" I will call you later OK. Duty calls ". Lucy waved at Metly .

" sure thing babe. Remember you are loved ". Metly said teasing which made Lucy laugh.

As soon as the call ended , Lucy yawned and went to bed. She didn't want to commit a mistake of not being punctual. She knew her job was at stake after gossiping to Henry on the phone.

Ring Ring. Her alarm beeped at 5:00am . She rose up her body with her messy hair . Her eyes were forcing to push the tears back in.

Lucy's laziness kept on fighting her but however, fear carried her into the bathroom.

" Put your hands on my shoulder. Hold me in your alms ,baby. Kiss me LA LA LA " She sang and hummed that special night music. She couldn't deny the strange feeling within her belly but one thing was for a fact.

" I didn't get butterflies for him" Her disgusted expression alarmed her because she hated men.

Once out, she picked up a matching brown office ladies trouser and a nicely sewed top with equal material.

"Damn I look hot. Oh yeah". Lucy sang herself some good looking praises before combing and fixing her long black hair into a pony tail. Her new style black heels slided on her foot and she finished with a makeup touch up.

" Lucy is off to work. In your face Mrs July". Her happy smirk plastered on her face when she realized there wouldn't be scolding.

There were lots of stares from the other staff members who cleaned the apartments daily. They had never seen anyone walk out this early. Their eye contacts only made Lucy very uncomfortable, making her to start greeting them one by one.

"Hi Mrs Erika Good morning to you". The woman nodded with a smile toward Lucy. Lucy sighed when she saw the obvious look plastered on the rest of the face. She read it as " Uh uh girl, you ain't passing without greeting us". After puffing , her mouth rap begun.

" Bonjour "

" Bonjing". She covered her lips and watch the cleaner man who obviously saw how she made a terrible mistake with mixing French and English. He laughed gently and waved his hands, making her smile.

"morning, I'm off to work". She finally said to the receptionist who was the last to greet.

" Have a nice day Asra". Sometimes she just kept forgetting her fake identity . Without realizing she was been addressed to, Lucy raised her hand and waved everyone behind. That was her ticket that saved her from not getting a cold glare from the receptionist.
