A raise in salary? Henry was surprised. Jason was generous but not in this kind of style. He raised salaries when they actually deserved it and not just because the woman you like enjoyed their food.
"Henry, I need to be alone" Jason cut through his thoughts. He wasn't himself because of her. Every move within his body was blood filling his forbidden part.
Henry noticed how Jason looked in distress and decided to gave him the space he wanted. He however headed to kitchen to inform them about their raise as well as the reason they got it.
Oh, I see what you did there. Henry finally realized why Jason increased their salary. Apart from Lucy liking the food, he used the kitchen staffs as examples to other servants. In other words, treating Lucy like a queen would create a path to salary incrementation.
