"Yeah." Clyde replied without taking his gaze off the street, seemingly immersed in his own doubt about what Ryley had just told him.
It's hard for the Alpha to imagine Gracia betraying him, but Clyde wouldn't just say it in front of Ryley. He didn't want to hurt his feelings.
"Then... Do you think Miss Clark knew you were the one who bought it?" Ryley asked. His voice slightly faltered as he bowed his head shyly, "You sent me a bouquet of flower before, remember? The one that came with the aromatherapy candles and a letter."
"But Lucas was the one who picked the bouquet last time." Clyde replied, calmly explaining his doubt. "Let's say Gracia knew it was him, she would've run to report it to me or Lucas himself by now."
Ryley's brown eyes suddenly turned sharp. "What about the investigation for the kidnapping incident?"
