~~~(POV: Jessica Autumn)~~~
I walk through the doors of the spaceport and head straight for the place that Scott spends most of his time at. For some reason, I feel very weak and extremely thirsty. That's when I remember Scott teaching me that you have to feed yourself in The Aeternus Universe.
If not, you'll starve to death and have to respawn. I haven't died yet, but that's not something I want to find out about. I stop off at the many foodcourts on the way to Scott, and I order multiple meals. A machine makes them with lasers. It's a process I wouldn't know the name of.
I pay with the few credits I have, and I carry the food and eat it at the same time as I head for Scott. I sip on my drink as I pass aliens tall, short, fat, and skinny. I see the store, and I enter through the front doors. I head for the workshop, and after I open the doors for that, I see him sitting in Autumn's Fall.
There's a strange helmet over his head, and his hands are in some sort of gooey liquid. The weapons on the ship move from time to time, but other than that, he looks like he's playing a video game. I walk up to the single pilot's seat and knock on the window.
I have to hold back laughter as he is slightly startled by my sudden appearance. He quickly takes the helmet off and looks at me. I smile at him and wave through the window.
He rolls his eyes and pushes a couple of different buttons, and the latch opens. "You scared the shit out of me. I didn't expect to see you today. Why are you here?" I can't help looking at him with some anger. I came online to see him specifically and pass the time too.
He sees my reaction and sighs. He indicates for me to move, and I do. He gets out, and we look at each other.
I have to look up, and he has to look down thanks to the height disparity. He looks like a human, but I know that he isn't part of the human race. He's changed since playing this game. I currently look like a beautiful Arn Zael female.
Long white hair and sapphire blue eyes. "I wanted to check up on you. Not to mention it's really lonely in that big house alone. I don't know how you stand it..." He chuckles and starts to walk away. He waves his hand to follow me, and I do so. I follow him to a console that has many buttons. I have no idea how to you.
He presses a few of them, and a hologram of a starship immediately pops up. I look at the starship, and it's beautifully crafted. It's sleek and grey. It has the shape of an arrowhead and many hidden compartments that open up, revealing weapons.
It's probably 20 to 22 meters long and 13 meters wide. "I was hoping that you'd get to see it before I made it. This is the result of the designs I've come up with. All you need to do is give it a name." I look at him, confused, and he gives an unreadable look. "It's your's Jess, once it's built. That means you have to give it a name." I'm speechless.
I look back at the hologram, and I admire it even more. "The parts should be arriving in a few more hours. Once they're here, it'll take me around 7 or 8 to fully construct it. I've made many upgrades to the original design. You should be pretty excited. Your ship is going to be better than mine." I can't help jumping up and down.
Releasing squeals of happiness and jumping into Scott's arms. He gently hugs me back as I come down from the high dose of energy. I pull away and look at the hologram again. I don't know what to name it.
I want to know if I'll be able to change the color or not, while I like gray. It's not my color. "Will I be able to change the color?" He nods his head and presses a button on the console. Changing the color of the hologram giving me an idea of what it would look like. He goes through the colors until I tell him to stop.
Stopping on Umbral Blue. "This is the one. This is the color I want it in." He smiles and leaves the hologram as is. "I'll work on the name for a bit. I'll have one by the time the part gets here." He nods his head and leans forward to look at the hologram. It's a masterpiece.
