The 7th Great God (Overlord Fan Fiction)

Tetsujin Yosei, was a player going by the name of Night Silver in the popular game of Yggdrasil. Making it a point to enjoy the things the real world no longer had, nature, he played as a druid, more specifically a Solo-player Immortal Dark Elf, woman. During the game he quickly rose to popularity for several reasons and was well known to those who kept up with the happenings of solo-players. He had unlocked the fullest potential of the druidic line. Causing others to search for improvements within their own builds. On the very last day the game's servers were online, he spent it enjoying the natural looking environment attempting to spend every last moment with it before being forcibly logged out. But... He suddenly found himself in another world. A world filled with nature, but also ruled by mighty creatures, True Dragon Lords. Joining him were 6 other players, their NPC's and guild base. Together they work to build a nation for the people of this new world to live in. And follow Night Silver's story as she explores the unknown timeline of Overlord's vague history. Times of strife, and times of peace. Night Silver builds a world she can enjoy. And how she changes the story overall. NOTE: I do not own Overlord. This work is purely a fan made series. The Winged-Humans (29)

With the events regarding the dead Winged-Humans having finished. The living remained in their places finding themselves reliving the need to come to terms with the fact they will never see those lost ever again. A painful realization but a truly necessary one. Difficult as it may be, this was the second time and so the vast majority of the Winged-Humans recovered their senses. Drying their tears and putting smiles on their faces.

It seems like they could really use a bit of work to take their mind off of things. Night Silver clapped her hands together once to gather attention on her. "Alright, everyone. Get something to eat. Rejoice and celebrate what you've had, don't let their deaths be a weight that holds you down. That would dishonor the sacrifice they made." She started explaining. "Instead be hopeful and proactive in building a future to honor those you've lost. I will aid you in this endeavor." She added.

"Goddess! Allow us to swear our people's fealty to you once more!" The Winged-Humans chanted in a rare moment of unison. Though the children had called out "Mother" instead of "Goddess".

"Then, for my very first divine order, you are to eat as much food until you're satisfied. Then take a nice warm bath and get a good night's rest. For when the sun rises in the morning, reconstruction begins." Night Silver said, reemphasizing what she had stated prior. Depending on how well they follow this order, I'll determine how I bring up the matter of decency. I'd really like to get out of this outfit, or at least the top half.

At this time the Winged-Humans bowed and then with rumbling bellies all charged towards the feast. Their mood was clearly improved. Though it was hard to say exactly why that was, there weren't many reasons why it could have improved. The children who had been playing on Night Silver jumped down and ran after the others for more food. They were growing and needed sustenance, after all.

"Well, that was a fruitful event. I didn't expect them to be so resilient…" Brightness muttered with a clear notion of struggling pain in his voice. "Sil, you've got what it takes to truly be a goddess for them. So don't shy away from acting as one." He added, as his body returned to his regular size.

"Don't worry Brighty, I'm not going to shy away from it any more. Not after that display. Their faith in me was so strong that their dead didn't even hold a grudge for my absence. For that matter, neither did the living." Night Silver said, soothing Brightness' worries as she stroked his scaling body. "In my previous world, the greedy wealthy class caused so much death, destruction and pollution that the planet actually died. It was a terrible place to continue living. There were always people dying en masse. It was a horrible place… Those spirits reminded me of that place. Here I have the perfect power to prevent such problems from happening. If that means I need to act… No, to be a Deity. Then be a Deity I shall." She finished, as she cast a few healing and recovery spells on Brightness.

"That is some excellent resolve." Brightness mentioned. "And please forgive me, I haven't mastered this transformation yet. All I've managed to do is shrink my body slightly." He sighed, as the soothing warmth of Night Silver's magic healed his pain.

"Don't worry too much about it. I was teasing you before about the time frame. If it takes you a little longer, that's fine. Just so long as you continue to make progress." Night Silver giggled. "Also, it hasn't even been a full day yet. Yet you've been able to create and improve this spell considerably. I'm sure you'll perfect it. I eagerly await the day this occurs. I've already thought up some names if we have a boy or a girl or even if our child is sexless. As for other needs, I doubt we have to worry too much. With such devout followers the gifts will be overwhelming." She continued.

"Sil, you really are exactly what I like in a mate. So strong and kind." Brightness chuckled, nudging his snout against Night Silver. "I too am excited for the day I perfect this new spell. I'm sure it will be an eventful day." He said with a loving tone.

"Pfft, aren't you just an adorable loaf?" Night Silver giggled with a slight blush. "I do need to set some ground rules. On your practice of this new spell. You can practice when I'm around. However, there will be times I leave you in charge of protecting our people. When this happens you are to remain in peak condition." She said, in a rather serious tone. "I don't want any accidents happening while I'm too far away. And I have yet to perform any real tests on some of the abilities I've created since I arrived here in this world." She added, worried about what to do next.

"Don't worry too much, Sil. I won't do anything that would cause harm to our people, and I'll do my best to keep my actions from causing any unforeseen effects." Brightness said. "Oh, you said a bath right? Where are you planning on building it?" He asked, changing topics.

"Pfft, Fortunately the hole is already dug. It just needs a few modifications now." Night Silver said with a light chuckle.

"Oh? You cleared it out already? That was fast!" Brightness said a little surprised. "We haven't been here long and yet…" He continued, trying to praise.

"Oh no, I didn't dig it… Well, I guess I kinda did… My shovel was dragon sized." Night Silver continued, attempting to hold in her laughter.

"Wait… You don't mean the crater you made when Frayrsis and Moigit got involved." Brightness asked… Then let out a chuckle himself. "Yeah, they did great work digging that hole out." He laughed.

"I know, it's so spacious and everything. It'll be a fantastic bath. I should work on filling it up now shouldn't I?" Night Silver giggled tapping her chin. "It will take a bit to warm the water so yeah, probably a good idea to get started." She added, floating up and flew away towards the crater.
