(Bonus chapter for 100 Powerstones)
My first loss... it felt weird. The feeling of someone out there being stronger than me... it felt out of place. Like something that shouldn't exist. Empress Luan Xing would be defeated by me, I refuse to be second best to anyone...
"So, what else have you guys come to see me about?" I asked with a sigh before my eyes landed on one of the only few people who were not affected by my beauty. She was a black-haired woman, and she gave off the same feeling Yun Che gave off. This is because she held the same bloodline Yun Che had. Seeing me looking at her, she stepped forward... and this caused everyone's eyes to land on her... and they were moved by her beauty.
There were no decorations, and there was no luster of jewels or pearls, and she was wearing nothing more than a simple and ordinary pure-white long robe. Her long hair reached her waist, it had not been combed or tied up in any way, it merely splayed out over her shoulders and across her back, releasing a soft and gentle luster.
Her eyes seemed to hold an entire limpid blue lake, yet at the same time, they seemed to be bottomless holes that would swallow up anything or anyone. But these were abysses that anyone would step into gladly, even if they had to stay there forever. Although she was no match for the likes of Empress Luan Xing, she was still a rival for the likes of Chi Wuyao.
This was Shen Xi, one of the top 3 beauties of the Realm Of the Gods, and was given the title Dragon Queen. She wasn't alone, as another one of the top 3 beauties stepped forward. She was a golden hair beauty, she was Qianye Ying'er's.
Qianye Ying'er's reputation as a supreme beauty is well known throughout the Realm of the Gods as 'Goddess'. The Dragon Queen and Goddess are the two most peerless beauties that no one else can compare to. It is said that these two possess three-fifths of the beauty of the entire realm of the Gods.
She had an especially slender build and a head full of luminous long, gold-colored hair. Half of it spilled over her shoulders and the rest hung down to her buttocks. She seemed to be dressed in a special layer of soft, golden leather that tightly clung to her body. Every outline her clothes drew on her body was perfect to the point of being stifling. Her bottom and bosom were tall and swelled, her waist as delicate as a willow. No matter where one's eyes touched, no matter which inch was seen, it was so alluring that it would cause one's soul to go limp.
She was currently looking at me with a seductive smile, which I smiled back towards. Why must I be so handsome?
"I wish to speak with the devil King." Shen Xi said respectfully, I looked at her for a moment before my voice entered her mind.
"So, what is your connection to the Primordial Azure Dragon? By the looks of things, you are her daughter." I said with a smile, causing Shen Xi unable to keep her aloof and cold aura, she looked at me in shock and disbelief.
"It seems like you were sealed away, is this how you managed to survive what led to the gods and devils' downfall? Are you trying to scheme with the Devil King for a counterattack once they return?" I asked while walking up to her, our two eyes meeting.
"... No, I just want to know why I was sealed away." She said to which I clicked my tongue,
"Boring, is it not clear that it was to ensure that you protect one of the key things that allows the gods and devils to reform? But sure, go ahead and speak with the devil king." I said with a shrug, leaving Shen Xi stunned for a moment, but she nodded thankfully.
"So, what do you want?" I asked with a smile while looking at Qianye Ying'er, who had a curious look seeing me and Shen Xi talking to each other. Hearing my words, Qianye Ying'er smiled sweetly.
"I just wanted to meet the great and mighty Wu XIan, truly seeing you from afar does you no justice." She said with a charming smile, to which I just nodded... I knew all of that.
"That is true, you need not thank me for allowing me to show you true greatness," I said with a humble smile, leaving Qianye Ying'er speechless for a moment. She didn't know what to say, but just as she was about to start feeding that ego, a soft and weak laugh sounded. She looked over and saw Chi Wuyao looking at her. It was then she realized that Chi Wuyao had already tried to charm me, and now she was watching her waste her time.
"I would like to invite you to my Brahma Monarch God Realm. You just came from the lower realm, I'm sure you have yet to enjoy what it's like to be within the immortal realm." She said with a smile, and at her words everyone was stunned.
"You're the first person to so nicely give me the offer... It's about time I take some time to relax and kick back." I said with a nod of my head, ever since coming to the immortal realm, it has been fight here and fight there. I just got my butt handed to me, I should sit back and relax my mind.
"In that case, would you give me the honor of taking you there?" She asked with the sweetest of smiles, much to Chi Wuyao's annoyance
"I don't see why not. You're so thoughtful, I don't see anyone better to take me." I said with a smile, causing Chi Wuyao to give Qianye Ying'er a death glare. Qianye Ying'er ignored her, which further enraged Chi Wuyao.
I had Qianye Ying'er stand behind me while I turned my attention to everyone else who was behind her. I looked around for someone else who wasn't affected by my charm... which happened to be my mother. I ignored her and just waited for anyone to speak up, but Empress Laun Xing had destroyed the mood, so no one was in the mood to speak. Instead, many of them just wanted to leave and start scheming for their revenge.
"if thats all, then this should be all for now," I said with a bored look while sitting back. This caused many of them to leave, as they had better things to do. But many of them were still able to break free of the hold Empress Luan Xing had on them, at least they wouldn't foolishly step into dirty water that would lead to their death.
"Sir Wu Xian, our Black Warrior Institute would like to support your organization." From the back, the Black Tortoise Realm king stepped forward and said these words. I looked at him for a moment, before nodding with a smile.
"Then, I will give you the task of overlooking the Martial Spirit realm. Although I need to make you a bit stronger, and more overpowered." I said much to the shock of the Black Tortoise Realm King... was this not too easy?
He was about to speak, but the world suddenly came to a freeze. Everything froze, causing me to frown while looking up at the bloody Xia Qingyue who had just finished her tribulation. She landed before me while breathing heavily.
"You froze the very idea of change, interesting," I said softly, her freezing capability seemed to have made a breakthrough... no, her law seemed to have finished forming. No wonder she so quickly finished her tribulation. My law of the Limitless was still forming, I was still missing a few parts here and there.
What Xia Qingyue froze was something not even the Immortal Sovereign could defend against. She froze the meaning to change. It's like she hit the pause button on a movie, how could those movie characters inside resist?
"Why are you ignoring your mother?" She asked unhappily about this matter... well, she was unhappy about a lot of things. That kiss, Empress Luan Xing's arrogance, and now how I was ignoring my blood.
"Just because we look alike, doesn't mean we are family. Plus, blood isn't everything, I have one dad, and he is in the lower realm." I said to which Xia Qingyue frowned deeply. She looked back towards the woman who was just looking at me, trying her best to hold back tears.
"She loves you, the look in her eyes shows it all. What happened to knowledge is everything? You willingly ignore information about yourself for what? Pride, arrogance, ego?" She asked looking back at me with a slightly cold glint, to which I just sighed.
"None, I just don't care to have such connections. I know this is something hard for you to understand... but I'm okay with the family I have right now. My old man is the only person I need." I said with a sigh, to which she just glared at me, knowing damn well my words were a half-truth.
Okay, my pride was hurt to find out I was within someone's balls. How could I take this? To make it worse, my father wasn't some big shot. Was this not embarrassing? I counted this as my secret first loss,
"..." Xia Qingyue looked at me, a flash of disdain flying across her eyes before she disappeared... that caused me to feel as if someone just run a blade through my chest. I gritted my teeth and sighed before I just sat down.
'Today was truly eye-opening...' I thought with a sigh as time moved normally, I ignored The Black Tortoise realm King, and instead looked at the fact I wasn't perfect... and I was oddly okay with that. I wasn't at the highest peak, I wasn't some unmatched guy within every field... I was okay with just being the strongest. I was okay with all of that. It just meant that I didn't have to hold back within other fields, there would always be someone better than me... and that was a good thing. It gave me something to aim towards, people to challenge, and a clear sign that this wasn't the peak.
'The illusion of being perfect was so boring... having flaws means I have a limitless number of ways I can improve. Limitless Improvement, Limitless Growth... I don't want to be perfect, perfection is boring.' I thought with a smile If I were to one day be perfect... it meant I reached my limit. I refused to believe I had limits. Limitless means having no limits, why am I looking at perfection as if Perfection is the limit?
'Freak...' Xia Qingyue thought, she knew damn well that giving me that look of disdain would have been a huge blow to my ego. After all, I saw her as a friend. For one of your only friends to give you such a look, it would hurt.
Her plan was simple, to humble me a little... which was confusing as I was already as humble as I could be. Let's look at it for a moment, I was so amazing, yet I was not going around acting like a big shot or showing everyone that I was better like some young master. I was this great being, yet I was playing with those I saw as lesser lifeforms... was I not humble?
As for why Xia Qingyue thought I was a freak right now... well, my Law was taking that final step it needed to form. All this time I was giving myself limitations, while forming Law I was calling the Limitless. Dumb right? Ever growing, ever-developing, and ever-evolving. To have no limits not just in the growth capability, but also in the skills one could use
With the Limitless law, Infinity Saw be stronger. Blue Shall be Stronger, Red Shall be Stronger, and Purple shall Be Stronger. Why you ask? Remember how I said my main abilities were around math? My Limitless law was going to be all around the idea of multiplication and division.
How would I reach Infinity using math? Simple, not too long ago I found out more ways than one to reach Infinity. The first is to divide by 0... but I didn't want to get into this stuff right now, thats for a later date.
"I expected more." Far away, sitting on a flower, a young woman looked at the sky, sensing the birth of the new law of Limitless. She shook her head lightly, easily comprehending the law and going on to play with it,
I instantly sensed this, causing me to turn towards where she was at with a look of shock. Someone was able to instantly comprehend my law? This law took me over 5 years to create, and as soon as it was completed, someone, somewhere, instantly mastered it.
"Oh, you finally sense me?" With a smirk, she looked back towards where I was at, before grinning and making the Limitless law her own and improving it many times over. This shocked me to the core... who had a better comprehension capability than me? One should know, that those 5 years were stretched out as I was in my dream creating this law. Pretty much, I needed millions of years.
"Interesting..." I said with a grin, my pride and joy was my comprehension capability... and I wasn't number one? What was next, someone out there didn't need cultivation and could still rival the peak of cultivation... I looked too highly upon myself. This feeling of being humbled... I didn't like it at all.
