Urbs Inferni

Stella panicked when the Piglins bound her arms and led her away, the portal was the only way back and she didn't know if it would end up in the same location if she opened it from this side.

Unfortunately, she couldn't fight back, all of the piglins were likely high level 2 if not low level 3, and with the 20 or so here it wouldn't be a fight she could win. So as she was taken away she memorized the route that they took so that she could come back to fix the portal later.

As she was brought through the forest she passed by the spot where the bodies once were, and there were Piglins wrapping bodies up and moving them onto carts.

"You are back, is this child related to what happened here?" One of the piglins in full golden armor asked

"She said she wasn't directly related to what happened but she came out of the portal and brought the people that did it here." Said the one that was holding Stella at sword point

"Ok grab the restraints and bring her with us, you destroyed the portal correct?" the fully armored one asked

"The portal is destroyed."Said the other piglin

"Good you know your job then, get to it." the armored piglin stated

Stella was brought to a small tent they had set up once inside her armor was stripped and her storage bag was taken, luckily they had the decency to leave her with the leather under armor. After she was stripped of her gear they brought out some manacles that were gold in color and had small glowing runes etched into them, and they fastened them to her arms and legs.

With the chains linking them together they drastically limited her movement, and with them being made of gold they were rather heavy as well.

Stella blamed this entire situation on herself, if she hadn't told Loki about the portal then she likely could have started with good relations with the piglin. She did know that if she ever got back to Orario then she wouldn't be telling anyone about what happened here.

After being bound she was brought with the rest of the piglins to the edge of the forest where a large boat sat in the lava. After the initial surprise, she was brought aboard and kept in a cell on the deck.

After a short 2-hour boat ride that Stella made sure that she was keeping track of where they were headed, they made it to the city.

Stella had to admit that the city was definitely a better sight than Orario was, there was a huge wall made of blackstone leading up to the lava surrounding the city, the houses were made of red and blue woods with red brick roofs. The best sight though was the huge fortress that stood high above the ground, its dark red brick lit up with hanging glowstone lamps.

She could see other piglins patrolling both on the fortress and on the ground, most of which were well equipped. She also saw not just piglins walking the streets, but also other races! She could also spot Illagers, pech, blackened skeletons, enderman, and even humanoid slimes!

"I didn't know there were so many intelligent beings in the nether."Stella said

"It's been like this for a few centuries now, the Pech and the Piglins founded Urbs Inferni with the Illagers following shortly after from there it just kept growing." The armored Piglin answered

"What about the enderman, skeletons, and slimes? I thought they were aggressive?"Stella asked

"Ah the slimes aren't aggressive once you feed them, the enderman get quite grumpy when you look at their eyes but after a few years it's gotten better, the skeletons and blazes were aggressive but after some peace talks they mellowed out." The armored Piglin explained

"Blazes? Also, what is your name if you don't mind answering?" Stella asked

"My name is Vela, what about you?"Vela responded

"It's Stella, it's good to properly meet you."Stella responded

"Sure it is, also you won't see blazes out in the open, they stay in the fortress most of the time staying close to their queen."Vela replied

After some awkward silence they had arrived in front of a huge blackstone castle it wasn't in the greatest condition with some cracks winding up the front and some bricks missing from the towers.

"We are here, I can't go inside but one of the bastion guards will escort you inside to meet the elders."Vela said

After a short wait, an even larger Piglin stepped out of the building wearing gold armor carrying a large brown ax.

"This is the one that is to meet with the elders?"The bastion guard asked

"Yes sir."Vela responded

"Very well, you are dismissed soldier."The guard replied

Stella was brought through the castle and she saw other guards similar to the one escorting her all carrying various weapons of the same material. She was however not brought to see any elders but instead brought to a dungeon where she was thrown into a cell.

"Wasn't I going to see these elders?"Stella asked

As she said that the guard escorting her punched her across the face drawing some blood.

"You aren't going to see anyone, nobody knows who exactly committed the crime so we will be using a scapegoat for the trial while we make you suffer."The guard sneered

Stella frowned while wiping the blood from her mouth. This was going to change her plans quite a bit. She didn't think that this was planned by the elders or she hoped it wasn't at least, after all she heard from some of the soldiers and citizens while being escorted here that the elders were the people who brokered peace between the races so there was something definitely amiss.

Unfortunately, she would have a lot of time to figure out who was behind this and how to escape.
