Days later, as the duke came back from his travel around Lezia kingdom in search for the real lady Briston, Cataleya was being prepared in the room for the celebration of the Lezia heroes later in the palace. She hadn't talk with the duke after that breakfast that he stormed away from her. But he did relay to the butler that she will be attending the party with him.

As the last pin was put on her hair by the maids, someone was knocking at the door. Sasha went to open it and immediately bowed before the entrance of the duke who was already prepared for the party even in such short time of preparation.

Cataleya turned away from the mirror and stood up to bow before the duke.

"Leave us for a moment." The duke turned to the maids who quickly scuttled away from there. 

The duke made a once over of her and she tried her best not to squirm in awkwardness. Maybe the days that he had been away made her not so immune with his stares again.
