Gabiru

While i was wandering around the city, Rigurd runs up to me.

Rimuru - "Rigurd? What's up?"

Rigurd - "I have a report sir! A lizardmen envoy has come to visit!"

Alright! Gabiru is finally here!

Rimuru - "Hm? Is that so... Right, shall we go then?"

Rigurd - "Understood!"

And so Rigurd led me to the lizardmen envoy at the town's entrance.

Rimuru - "... You can turn away people like this next time."

Rigurd - "Understood. My apologies, Rimuru-sama."

Rimuru - "Can you call the others? If they're busy then you don't need to."

Rigurd ran off to do as i asked while i wated for the rest of the lizardmen to arrive.

In the end, Hakurou, Shion, Shuna and Benimaru arrived.

A while later, i turn back into my slime form and got carried by Shion.

And so, Gabil and his men finally arrive. There were about 10 of them, all in line before they get off their hover lizards and begin to bash their back-spear against the ground, making this imposing thundering sound.

Then, trumpet music starts playing from "anime logic" out of nowhere.

A more majestic lizardmen rides up slowly to the front. His lizard stops before he jumps into the air and backflips, and lands back on the ground like a gymnast.

Gabiru - "I am Gabiru of the lizardmen! You will all serve under me. Consider this a great honor!"

A few of the surrounding lizardmen then point their shields to Gabiru, reflecting the sunlight making for some makeshift spotlights.

Anyway, Shion is currently trying to squeeze my body but it wont work because i am cancelling Compression Attacks.

Rigurd - "Sir Gabiru, was it? Your request for us to serve you is rather sudden..."

Gabiru - "Pfft! Have you not heard yet? Those pigs, the orc race, are on the move! They will attack this very village before long. And I am the only one who can save your puny, Pathetic hides!"

Listening to him, Everyone else is getting pissed at him. While i just make a disappointed face.

Well, i want to get on goot terms with the lizardmen, so forming a united front would be good, but i don't wanna talk to Gabiru here. I guess i'll send Soei like planned and have him talk to the lizardmen chief.

I am aware that this will lead to the lizardmen chief playing defense against the orc army, which will cause Gabiru to stage a coup. I could prevent this, but honestly, i think its a good personality growth opportunity for him. I want Gabiru to serve under me, but...

Yeah, i dont want this narcissistic version of him. I'll wait for him to mature first.

Anyway, while i was thinking, Gabiru continued to make his speech about us serving him and it being an honor.

And, after some thought... I became lazy to write this part so i used a little magic

Gabiru ended up being defeated by one of my clones and ran away.

Anyway, i asked Rigurd to gather everyone to have a meeting about these orcs. He quickly left to do as i asked and a few hours later, everyone gathered inside the building for the meeting.

Soei began his report with the nearby goblin villages. Once the orcs started moving, Gabiru went around to these villages and began to recruit them under him.

Either run and gamble your survival or fight directly against the orc army. Even so, I believe running isn't the smart decision.

And finally, Soei began talking about the army itself.

Soei - "I was mistaken. The orc forced number approximately 200,000."

Now THAT got everyone shaken up except for me.

Benimaru - "So the force that attacked our home was merely a small fraction..."

Rimuru - "Do you know where they're going?"

Soei - "Yes, they're moving up the river and should meet back with the separate force that attacked our village at the marshlands."

Rigurd - "In the lizardmen's territory?"

Soei just nods.

Looking at the map i made of the entire forest, they realised that after the marshlands, here's a great chance that they would then head into human territory. Because of this, everyone is discussing what exactly is the orc's goal.

Rimuru - "Well, i felt a rather powerful presence, so i looked into it. It turns out that the orcs are being led by an Orc Lord."

This set off a wave of murmurs throughout the entire room.

Me being tired of writing this conversation again i will cut it short.

Kaijin asks me if what im saying is real and i nodded. And then Soei's clone meets a Dryad which appears in the room on top of the table.

Treyni introduces herself and resquests me to defeat the Orc Lord.

Hmph, the orc lord is a piece of cake. It was a long time since i get to use my powers...
