Monsters!

Samsaria was a cheerful young girl, at 13 years and she was Mara's errand girl. 

"Why was I tasked to protect her?"

Well, it was a Quest he had to do. He squeezed his staff before he walked to Mara's residential area.

The Manor defence Gate was closed and the female workers all wore their armour. In addition to them, there were Female Guards.

The Female Guards have always looked down on him. Seeing them Seth realized he was the only male in the house now

He entered Mara's Courtyard and found her standing. She was not worried at all but seeing him enter, she pretended to feel a bit afraid.

"As an Immortal Azure, I'm here to buy you time when things go wrong," Seth said with a bow before he found a place to sit.

"You're going to buy her time while sitting, Mr Cripple!" One of the Female Guards asked, mockingly.

Seth ignored her.

"Let him. I feel safe with him here!" The small voice of Mara was heard. 

While Seth sat, his eyes took in everything around as if really on guard as he observed every person in the room.

In truth, he was observing Samsaria. She was terrified, her body trembling from time to time, with the slightest sound, she would shudder.

"Stop that and calm down!" 

That was the fourth time, one of the female guards shouted at her. But that only served to scare the little girl.

"Come here!" Seth said. Samsaria looked at him for a minute before she walked to him.

He tapped his jacket pocket and brought out white skin and a pencil. With some swipes of his hand, he made an exquisite drawing of the young girl in shining armour and holding a staff that glowed with light. Her childish demeanour was still there but there was no fear but only cute bravery.

Using Esteem Painting Skill, Seth mixed some colours and made a fast painting that made her look bold.

~Esteem Painting skill is a painting used to depict heroes on battlefields. Or a person doing something that raised their courage.

The trick worked as the girl was dazed by it. She held the paper wishing she would become the girl in it.

"You are young, you can make that come true. All you need to do is work hard and have a clear goal!" Seth whispered to her.

Samsaria smiled weakly as she went back to her master, Mara.

Roar!

The entire town shook. 

"Attack. Don't let that thing breach the gates!" Abuhi Vulcan's voice was heard.

Seth's heart pounds with anticipation. Unlike unexpected realism and the arrival of the dragons that scared him, this one he was ready!

Seth's outfit is at level 10. And he has already activated Inventories in his jacket pocket and pants pocket. Now he has three Inventories!

He squeezed his staff as he closed his eyes. He readied its two Aspects!

Pillar Elevation and Elevated Strikes. 

Depending on the situation, he will choose the best possible option.

Thanks to the Elevated Health passive skill "Increased Perception" he can feel the slightest tremor and infer what was going on. Despite the distance, with him concentrating and his eyes closed, he can feel the battle happening at the gates.

He can't picture everything though. One thing was apparent, the size of the beasts and the death of players. Any player that died will revive beside the Tower.

Seth did not know that for every death the player will lose 5 levels from the Blessed level.

The beasts were mutated beasts from the forest. Boars, Panthers, rabbits, antelope, wolves, all the size of elephants. They were at levels 15 to 25.

The battle was in a stalemate until an iron Boar ran fast, increasing its momentum at every step. It smashed itself on the gate. Its head burst open and died. It then vanished in smoke after that.

Then many more of the same came. Each boar is more powerful than before and in the end, the iron boars come in a hoard. Hundreds of them crash onto the gate and the town walls that brought about the breach in the town.

"Shield Rise!" Abuhe Vulcan shouted.

He was about to give another blessing when a shadow moved fast and attacked him. That forced him to defend. 

Boom!

The collision was so powerful that it caused the soldiers standing beside him to blast away. Three of them died instantly.

"Damn it!" 

He cursed before his hand glowed and then moved fast, taking the massive shadow with him toward the entrance.

Causing ten more deaths to his army at the same time he used that opportunity to decimate the beasts' army!

"Father has made a move?" Mara said gravely.

"What is an Asteroid from the sky?" Seth asked.

"It means the destruction of Villages and Towns, collapse of Cities and mass death in Kingdoms!"

Seth frowned. She has said a lot in that sentence. Whatever it was, it means super bad news to every community.

Boom!

The front door of the Manor was smashed by a beast. The Female Guards ran to confront it. Seth too left the room.

~Pillar Elevation!

His staff elongated and it pushed him up until he reached the roof and then stepped on it. He planted the staff on the roof and...

~Increase Awareness!

His eyes zoomed at the battlefield as he saw the efforts of the Guards against the beasts' hoard.

Then he closed his eyes. Now his perception of his surroundings through sound doubled.

He sensed the movement of a Quadruple Monster in Manor. The reason Seth called it a Monster was its size might be as big as a lion but it's as light as a bird.

Its movement was slow but fast as it evaded the detection of the Female Guards. It seems to use sound as its way to detect its surroundings.

Seth focused on Samsaria, she was trembling but then she brought out his painting and stared at it. She then regained her bearing and folded it and stash it in her clothes. 

To his surprise, Mara was looking his way with a frown.

'She senses me?'
