As Diana stared at her mother, who was slightly fidgeting as she looked at her adopted daughter, she couldn't help but open her mouth.
"What is it?" asked Diana, putting her cigarette away as she looked at her mother.
"I ran out of fertilizer, and I need you to get some, I'm sorry, I forgot about it, should have remembered, you wouldn't have had to make another trip," said Noah, Diana's mother, as she stared at her daughter with a slightly nervous expression on her face.
"It's fine, anyway, there wasn't any fertilizer at that store anyway," said Diana, causing Noah to breathe a sigh of relief as she watched her tall, over 6ft 2 daughter walk away.
As Diana walked through her house, all the way to the garage, she couldn't help but move her hands in her pockets, making sure that she still had a small metallic object that she had placed inside of them.
The moment Diana entered the garage, she first walked up to the truck of the car, opening it and making sure that there wasn't anything missing.
"This should be enough gas for a bridge," mumbled Diana as she checked the jerrycan inside of her truck, seeing how much gas was inside of it.
After seeing that everything was alright, Diana quickly took off, exiting Dallas proper and driving into the wilderness.
As Diana's house was already nearby the edge of Dallas, Diana was quickly able to exit the city, speeding up on the freeway.
Only around a minute after that, Diana's car suddenly stopped speeding up, reacher a speed of 126mph.
In only a few minutes, Diana finally arrived at her destination, a small town, town that had a flower store inside of it.
The moment Diana entered the town, she saw a relatively large flower store in the distance.
Only around half a minute later, Diana walked up to the middle-aged cashier inside the store.
"Two ten-pound bags of Ammonium Nitrate Fertilizer," said Diana, causing the cashier to space out for a moment before nodding.
"Wait here for a minute, I'm going to get them from the back," said the cashier before walking through a door behind him.
A few moments later, the middle-aged man emerged with two large bags over his shoulders, causing Diana to slightly lean over, allowing him to place them on the counter.
"This will be 84.4 dollars," said the middle-aged man, causing Diana to take out a Hundred Dolar bill from her wallet, and place it on the counter, her hand slightly touching the hand of the cashier as she did so.
The cashier froze for a moment before quickly giving Diana her change.
As Diana was in a good mood today, she ignored the utterly ridiculous price of the fertilizer, merely placing it in her car and driving off.
Staring at the car driving into the distance, the middle-aged cashier couldn't help but shake his head.
"She doesn't look like the type who would like farming, wonder what she needs ten pounds of fertilizer for," mumbled the cashier as he lost himself in his thoughts
...
Sometime later,
Staring at the bland yellow scenery that seemed to stretch into infinity, Diana couldn't help but let out a sigh before throwing her current cigarette to the side, and taking out another one from her pockets.
Suddenly, Diana noticed a car slowly coming in her direction from a distance.
"Kids, these days," mumbled Diana, staring at the fourteen-year-old kid who was in the driver's seat of the car, shaking her head.
Around half a minute later, the car reached Diana, then moved to the side of the road and parked in front of her.
A moment later, a young kid walked got out of the car and stared at Diana as he approached her, with a weird look on his face.
"Kids like you shouldn't be drinking," said Diana, causing some anger to suddenly appear on the face of the boy.
"Shut up, will you give me cigarettes, I have money," said the fourteen-year-old drunk kid, causing Diana to let out a chuckle before taking a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket and handing them to the kid, her hand touching his in the process, causing him to suddenly freeze for a brief moment.
"I don't need your money, move on kiddo," said Diana as she stared at the kid, towering over him like a titan.
A few moments later, the kid got into the probably stolen car and slowly drove off, leaving Diana all alone once again, smoking as she leaned on the side of her car.
Suddenly, Diana threw her cigarette to the ground and crushed it with her foot, staring into the distance at the three trucks coming her way.
Looking at the large semi-trucks with the words 'Speedwagon Foundation' written on them, Diana let out a small smile.
A few moments later, the trucks passed by Diana, moving above the bridge to her right, when suddenly, three different explosions sounded off.
Only a fraction of a moment later, the bridge, alongside the trucks, suddenly collapsed into a small valley below them.
Seeing this, Diana sighed, took out a pistol from her car, and began walking towards the valley.
...
Inside of the small valley.
Looking at the wrecked truck in front of him, a guard, holding an automatic weapon in his hands, couldn't help but shout.
"Mister Polnareff, are you alright?" shouted the guard, causing the bent metal door of the truck to suddenly fly into a nearby rock wall, revealing a burly man with a large head of grey hair, blood flowing down his legs.
"Fools, don't worry about me, go check the container, I'm fine here, I just need some time," said Polnareff, causing the guard alongside two of his colleagues, which had just gathered, to move towards the middle truck, which was slightly more intact than the front one.
...
Over ten guards, each of whom had an automatic weapon in their hands approached the trailer.
A moment later, one of the guards suddenly opened the trailer, revealing its insides.
"Put your hands up, otherwise we will open fire," shouted the guards as they stared at the blond girl inside of the truck, who was holding an ornate golden arrow in her hands.
Ignoring the words of the guards, the girl suddenly stabbed the arrow into her own neck, but surprisingly, no blood came out, rather, the arrow entered her body, being clearly visible through her skin.
Without any warning, the ten guards suddenly opened fire without hesitation, pouring their ARs into the girl, causing dust to fly everywhere within the trailer.
But just as the guards finished unloading the first magazine, five of them were suddenly sent flying, whilst three more of them fell to the ground, their legs seemingly smashed by something.
At the same time, an invisible being suddenly took hold of the last two guards, grabbing them by their necks and strangling them.
...
As Polnareff finally managed to get out of the smashed truck on his own, a silver figure suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking the bullets that were coming this way.
"It seems as though the rumors are true, even in this state, one of the Famous Stardust Crusaders is not to be underestimated," said Diana as she walked in front of Polanreff, holding an AR which she had picked up from one of the guards in her hands.
The moment Diana appeared, a silver figure suddenly appeared next to her, throwing a punch toward her face.
Suddenly, Diana moved her neck at a completely unnatural angle, trying to dodge the punch, but even so, even that was not enough, causing a golden figure to suddenly appear in front of her, blocking it.
Not giving Polnareff's stand, Silver Chariot, any time to react, the golden figure suddenly let out a punch, causing Silver Chariot to suddenly flee, reappearing by Polnareff's side.
Staring at the golden figure in front of him, a horrified expression could be seen on Polnareff's face.
"The World? or another stand..." mumbled Polnareff, staring at the stand which looked eerily familiar to him.
"It's true that this is not The World, but this has already dragged on too long for my liking, let's slaughter him, Tempo Symphony," said Diana, causing the golden stand next to her to suddenly light up.
