In the morning, as most of the adults started getting up and returning to their duties, most were thinking that the guy who killed so many zombies yesterday would explain his feet?
But to the surprise of everyone, he never showed up and they started searching for him but were surprised to find some of the students missing too.
"Hey! They took the Humvee!" One of the mechanics cried out as he saw the garage where the humvee stood before was empty with only a letter in its place.
While the commotion was happening Yurikou found a letter from Saya saying they will be back and not to worry too much about them leaving for some time.
Yuriko after reading the letter took a deep breath and decided to see what's the commotion outside.
While the Takagi estate was left in confusion Demolus and the group were the Humvee which was surprisingly EMP protected so they didn't need to go walking to where they wanted to go.
As they were driving they could finally see the city and the black smoke coming from it while the undead roamed the streets seeing this Demolus and Saeko started smiling sadistically while the others were having a plethora of emotions seeing the city in such a state.
"Hey, guys, look there's a supermarket we could see if there are any survivors, and take some food supplies!" Said Hisashi while pointing where the building was.
"It's a good idea there is still something that I think everyone could pick up and some new clothes if these get too dirty" Agreed Rei.
"Let's go and check it out then but be careful of the undead and pay attention to your surroundings!" Demolus said while thinking that he could pick up some free stuff, maybe some gifts for Cenotore or other girls he will meet in the monster Musume world.
As the group parked the Humvee in the parking lot they started clearing the undead around trying not to make too much noise so as to not attract too many of the walking corpses to themselves.
The group after killing the undead approached the supermarket and met face to face with a police officer which they didn't expect and both party's froze for a moment.
Bur Demolus decided to introduce himself and the others. "Hello it's nice to see other survivors. My name is Demolus and we can all introduce ourselves but first how about we enter the supermarket!" Demolus said while looking at the female police officer.
"Ah y...yes please come in" The officer stuttered a bit but let the group enter the building.
As the group was in the building the officer turned to the group and started introducing herself.
"Tokonosu Higashi police station's traffic department patrol woman Nakaoka Asami at your service!" She said while smiling cheerfully.
As Asami was introducing herself Hirano started blushing a bit which was noticed by Demolus and he could tell Hirano somehow instantly had a crush on her so he decided to help the guy out secretly when he could.
"So are you alone here at this supermarket or are there other survivors?" Demolus asked her
"Oh of course there are others, let me show you around!" Asami was excited to meet and help new people.
"I see then lead the way and are you the one who organized the group of people here or someone else?" Demolus decided to ask if there was a leader in a roundabout way.
"No, it wasn't me, it was Matsushima senpai who guided everyone here" Asami answered while smiling and leading the group.
"Oh, but senpai left to get support from headquarters because it was safe here" Asami remembered and told the group.
"And when did she leave?" Asked Saya with curiosity.
"I think it was yesterday afternoon. But don't worry! Because Matsushima senpai is amazing and has all sorts of medals because she's a true veteran, unlike Asa.. I mean the police officer here" She said cheerfully while telling them how amazing her sempai was.
While the group started relaxing Demolus was ready for anything after all you never know what will happen and the officer was friendly but how about other people they will meet so he gestured to Hirano and Saeko not to let their guard down with hand signs they decided on while driving. After all, better be prepared even if there is no danger after all that's how most people die in the apocalyptic world. They get too cocky or they relax too much or in the wrong scenario.
