"Why not?" Maeve pouted crossing her arms across her chest.
"Because I'll be too busy to take care of you. You know as an Alpha and…".
"You should be more caring of your children, Dad," Maeve interrupted "We should be your first priority and not the pack. How will you learn how to take care of the pack when you cannot take care of your children?"
"I'm sorry darling," he scratched his head and turned to me, looking helpless.
I snickered and quietly slipped out of the room, leaving him to his fate. Just as I left his office and walked down the corridor leading to the bedrooms, the door to Noah's bedroom opened and he leaned against the entrance of his room watching me.
