"The entire time in the memory, I was reliving it as the nameless goddess."
Fang continued.
"The things she saw, she heard, she said, she felt—everything was passed to me and..."
As if feeling cold, Fang embraced herself while leaning against me.
"I... Leader. I died."
"..."
If she did feel all the nameless goddess' senses, then I can guess how she would've felt. I, myself, have experienced millions of deaths, though I couldn't recall all of them. Still, I know how dreadfully painful and cold death was.
I gently soothed Fang, hugging her tight while patting her head. Then, I turned to the girls, who were listening to Fang's recount, and nodded.
"I'm guessing the world we went to is the same world that that unknown goddess was in."
This is assuming that the goddess did exist, of course, and that what Fang saw was not a simple movie-like memory—a fake.
